Normally I don't like posting pics other people's art because it's… their art. Not mine. However these iconic chandeliers at LA Public library created by Therman Statom as "Chandeliers" in 1993, always left an imprint in me as a child that I still carry until this day.The style is so purely early 1990s. The playful loud colors and blissful geometry mixed with organic shapes for a brief moment takes me back to the boundless fresh freedom I had in my 8 year old youthful mind at the time.... and have to choose and work at keeping aflame as each year passes. I also wanted to thank the delightful @hashbrowncito for giving @miky_barba and I such unexpected and informative tour. by @thelifeofanthony

A few of my favorite pictures from this last 25 day trip to the Yucatán in Mexico. Had such a wonderful time celebrating our year anniversary with @miky_barba as well as my birthday. Visited Bacalar, Mérida, Campeche and Playa del Carmen as well. Enjoyed a wonderful birthday snorkeling in Cozumel with @handcraftalex and @pinche.guero too. One of my favorite plants in my collection is the pile of sticks plant. Cynachum marnierianum A total weirdo native to Madagascar that mimics dead plants so animals don't find it appetizing. Never makes leaves, just these hanging sticks that grow pretty quickly. during it's blooming season it makes these little complex #chartreuse cage-like flowers. Related to Hoyas and Plumeria in the family #Apocynaceae #cynachummarnierianum by @thelifeofanthony

Eating junk food in Taiwan with Eric Grimm.PS: learned later that the bottle we couldn't open was rice wine for cooking. I always try to post within 24 hours of a photo capture but I just got kind of distracted this last month. Here are a few favorites from my trip to New York City and Fire Island last late June/early July.. Such a great time it was visiting some wonderful friends there. by @thelifeofanthony
