I couldn’t have dreamed of a better 2025, so many amazing memories and milestones ✨🎇

The end of 2025 marks my first full year of freelancing, which has been such a new adventure and huge learning curve, but above all led to working with some incredible clients (and better, yet, new friends)

2025 has been about reconnecting with people who I love and truly matter to me. I’m so grateful for long lasting friendships, even when you don’t see each other often or live far apart, it feels like no time at all has passed when you catch up again…You know who you are! 🥹🫶

I couldn’t have dreamed of a better 2025, so many amazing memories and milestones 🎇

I’ve watched my parents incredible pottery studio come to life in 2025, a thriving business that they both throw (pun intended) their hearts and souls into — @prospect_pottery 🥳

It’s been a year of setting boundaries, especially with myself, and allowing myself to recharge to produce work that I’m proud of and enjoy 🎨

I couldn’t imagine 2025 being as incredible as a year without my soulmate @joshjamesjoshua, who stands by me and supports me every single day in every possible way 💖 My fellow dog parent, as we introduced @staffymaverick into our tribe!!

Wishing everyone a 2026 filled with joy, achievements, boundaries, friendships and adventures 🤍

Last month I posted a video turning an empty wine bottle into a drinking glass, and sooo many people wanted to know how I did it! 🍾

Here is my exact process from start to finish:

What you’ll need:
 – Bottle cutter (the one I use is linked in my bio… or comment ‘link’ and I’ll DM you everything 💌) – A kettle (or deep saucepan for boiling water) – Deep bowl of ice water – Wet sandpaper (different grits to smooth the edges) or for PERFECTLY polished glasses, an orbital sander with sanding pads ranging from 100 to 1000 grit. Again, the exact ones I use are linked in my bio! 🔗

Steps:

1. Remove the labels from your empty bottles. You can either soak them in water, or fill the bottles with hot water to melt the glue. Sometimes you’ll be able to peel the label right off, other times you’ll need to scrape the label off and use some sticky stuff remover!

2. Mark your bottle using the cutting kit; this is where the break will happen. The trick is to score it lightly, applying even pressure the whole way around the bottle. Make sure to wear gloves to protect your fingers from very very teeny glass shards!!

3. Prepare a bowl of ice water and a saucepan of boiling water, both deep enough to submerge the bottle to the score line.

Most bottle cutting kits come with elastic compression bands, but you can just use elastic bands if not; this will encourage the break to happen along the scored line.

Dunk the bottle into the boiling water for about 30 seconds, then the ice water for 30 seconds, and repeat the hot-cold cycle until it breaks.

(Alternatively you can pour ice water and boiling water over the bottle in a sink.)

4. Sand the rim until smooth. Start with coarse grit, and work your way down to a fine grit, using water.

And that’s it, your old wine bottle is now a beautiful upcycled tumbler! 🍷😍🙌

I’m finally taking the leap and starting my own studio 🫶 Calling myself and my work a studio feels like a mindset shift more than anything, a step up to something bigger, braver, and bursting with possibility.

I’ve been designing and creating for 7 years, but for almost a year, I’ve been freelancing as a designer full time. Starting @artsadastudio feels so right at this point ✨

As you can probably tell from this wild vid of recent projects, I haven’t niched down… and don’t really intend to. I’m a lover of all things creative, and apply curiosity without limitation to every project I possibly can 🙌 I’ll still be doing the same kind of work, but now it feels different. More intentional. More exciting!!

@artsadastudio is built upon limitless curiosity, creative experimentation, and the joy of making cool things for great people.
