Sage’s Story…

Sage Bradley Denson passed away in 2023 at just 26 years old due to an accidental drug overdose.
Sage grew up with his mom, dad, and little sister, surrounded by love and family. But behind the person everyone saw was a battle that so many people never knew he was fighting. Sage struggled with his mental health for much of his life, and at times, simply navigating the world felt harder than it should have.

His death left a hole in our family that can never truly be filled. But Sage was so much more than the way his story ended.
He was a bright light. His gorgeous eyes. His familiar smile. His contagious laugh. He was the person who could walk into a room and somehow make it feel a little brighter just by being there.

Sage’s story is one of love, struggle, addiction, loss, and, most importantly, the life of a person who mattered deeply.

This page is here to keep that light going. 💙 To remember Sage, to share his story, to support those struggling with grief, mental health, and addiction, and to remind anyone who may be struggling that they are never alone.

Sage’s story didn’t end with his death. His light lives on through the lives he touched, the people who love him, and the conversations we continue to have because of him.

this page was created in honor of my brother, Sage Bradley Denson, and the impact he continues to have on all of us who love him.
through this account, we hope to turn grief into something that can help others. a place for honest conversations, relatable content, little reminders that you’re not alone, and resources for navigating the days that feel a little heavier.
we’ll be sharing ways to move through grief, support mental health, uplift the LGBTQIA+ community, and bring awareness to addiction — while keeping things real, relatable, and connected to the world we’re living in.
because grief doesn’t have a timeline. healing doesn’t look the same for everyone. and sometimes, knowing someone else gets it is enough to keep going.
this is a space to remember Sage, carry his light forward, and hopefully be a little light for someone else. 🕊️
