The Lilley Line began with a gift from a friend in El Salvador… a colorful woven basket that became a bag for everything. Today, local artisans in El Salvador weave these beautiful pieces, bringing color, craftsmanship, and purpose to everyday life.

Before heading into the mountains to visit our weavers, I stopped by Guadalupe’s home and garden.

Years ago, Guadalupe gave me a handwoven bag—a gift that inspired the idea for The Lilley Line.

Today, she showed me the flowers and cacao growing in her garden. It was such a joy to spend time with the woman who started it all. 🌿
