October Reading Wrapup!

This month I reread the Empyrean series with the release of Threshing Day, got to hang out with my favorite inner circle with the new acotar release, finished an ARC and started the Everflame series.

Looking forward to some cozier nights reading and some cooler weather. by @thelittlebookishghost

Falling For a Villainous Vampire by @charlotte.stein is out now! Such a fun paranormal romance. This was a quick and light hearted read just in time for fall. Marley is trying to evade a vampire who is out to get her. However when she casts a spell and the vampire becomes nice, more truths about her past come to light. Is the vampire really her true enemy? Really loved this one.

✨Book Review✨
Now That We Don’t Talk by @rachelpologewrites was a heartfelt romance about two childhood friends who never quite got the timing right for their relationship to turn into more. This story was sweet, but also had such a growth for our FMC that I really liked. I will say, in the middle of the book I felt our FMC was immature and it was surprising (in a good way) to see how the author had her grow and confront many of the issues later in the book. I found myself getting sucked into this book every time I picked it up. Definitely recommend! by @thelittlebookishghost

Back to my regularly scheduled reading after finishing my Empyrean reread. Excited to read Tree Daddy by Molly Harper! by @thelittlebookishghost

✨Book Review✨

I’m a day late, but this gem of a novel is out now!

Another @emstonewrites novel getting me ready for the holiday season. This story was definitely more emotional than some of her previous work. While there is a love story, Counting Down to You really explores grief and losing a best friend.
Ali’s best friend has passed away, but has left Ali with a Christmas advent calendar all with specific tasks to complete. I loved the tasks and interpretations Ali took. This story is tender and so lovely. A must read. 5⭐️

Did I pause my tbr to reread Fourth Wing after finishing Threshing Day? ….

Yes. Yes I did and I have no regrets. by @thelittlebookishghost

I am ready! #threshingday by @thelittlebookishghost

September Reading Wrapup!

I finished 7 books this month including 4 ARCs. I feel like September was a slower reading month and I spent more time enjoying outside instead of reading. Rose In Chains was by far my favorite book this month and I can’t wait for book 2 later this year.

I’m looking forward to some cooler weather and fall romances in October 😊 by @thelittlebookishghost

Such a fun, magical book! Spellstruck by @marthabwaters follows Vesper as she teams up with Max to figure out who is tampering with magical potions at local establishments. Max, however, works for the local law enforcement who wants to shut down these establishments and is not a fan of magic.
I thoroughly enjoyed this lighthearted romance. The mystery and crime solving was super adorable and watching the characters fall for each other was the best. I think this will be a perfect fall book to get you in the witchy/magic spirit for Halloween. 5⭐️

5⭐️ Book Review

I know I am so behind on reading this, but my goodness Rose in Chains by @juliesotowrites is phenomenal. The slow burn tension, the world building, the enemies-to-not-quite-yet lovers, and also the surprising plot twist at the end. This story is definitely a dark romantasy and is unlike Julie’s previous novels.

I absolutely loved this first installment and can’t wait for the next book in the series! by @thelittlebookishghost

A little August Reading Wrapup! So many good books this month!

I checked off 4 books from my tbr and read 2 ARCs.

Excited to read a few fall (and maybe Christmas 🎄) books in the coming month 👻 by @thelittlebookishghost

Dear @lauramariemeyers,

Thank you for writing a romance that had every throwback this Millennial girl missed in her life. Penn and Ruby were perfection, but the throwbacks? The best. From dunk a roos, to Lisa Frank, and of course MASH this book was amazing.
Sincerely,
A Romance Loving Millennial 💕 by @thelittlebookishghost
