We’re building something for our community, and we can’t do it alone. The Local Collective was created to give local small businesses a place to grow, connect, learn, and be seen. But building a space like this takes more than an idea. It takes a community willing to believe in it, share it, and help bring it to life. Whether you become a founding vendor, support our campaign, share our story, attend an event, or simply tell someone about The Local Collective, every bit of support helps us get closer to opening our doors. If you know a business owner or are one, we also have sponsorship options available! If you believe our High Desert community could use a place like this, we’d love to have you be part of building it with us and following us along the way! #TheLocalCollective #BuildLocal #HighDesertSmallBusiness #SmallBusinessCommunity #ComingSoon by @thelocalcollectivehd

🤍 Welcome to The Local Collective by Kash Clouds. What started as a dream has become a vision for something much bigger. The Local Collective is being created to give local makers, artists, small businesses, and entrepreneurs a beautiful place to grow together under one roof. We believe shopping local should feel like walking through a charming collection of unique shops, where every purchase supports a dream, a family, and our community. We’re just getting started, and we can’t wait to share every step of this journey with you—from designing the space and building vendor shops to introducing the incredible local businesses that will call The Local Collective home. Thank you for being here from the very beginning. 🤍 Follow along as we bring this vision to life. #ShopLocal #SupportLocal #HighDesert #SmallBusiness #CommunityMarketplace by @thelocalcollectivehd

HIGH DESERT, WE HAVE A DONATION DROP-OFF LOCATION! Good art supplies deserve a comeback! A special thanks to a wonderful community partner, giving your gently used art supplies a second life just got a little easier. We’re excited to announce that Recycled Art Supplies now has a donation drop-off location in the High Desert! A huge thank you to @thelocalcollectivehd for generously making space in their shop to support our mission. Small acts of generosity like this can make a big difference in our creative community! What is Recycled Art Supplies? Our mission is simple: Help Encourage Creativity! We collect new and gently used art supplies and redistribute them free of charge to students, teachers and instructors, and aspiring artists who face financial barriers to accessing creative materials. We believe creativity should never be limited by someone’s ability to afford art supplies. By giving perfectly good materials a second life, we can reduce waste, support arts education, and help make creative opportunities more accessible throughout our communities. Have art supplies collecting dust? We’d love to give them a new home! We’re accepting donations of drawing and painting materials, sketchbooks, craft supplies, and other usable art materials. Have a larger donation? If your supplies won’t fit in our drop-off box, send us a message! We’ll be happy to help coordinate another way to get them to us. Every donated paintbrush, pencil, and sketchbook has the potential to inspire something new. What may no longer be useful to you could be exactly what another artist needs to get started. Help us spread the word! Share this post with your fellow artists, teachers, friends, and anyone who believes in making creativity accessible to everyone. And please join us in thanking @thelocalcollectivehd for helping us bring this mission to the High Desert! Visit recycledartsupplies.org to learn more about our mission, donations, and how you can get involved. Give your art supplies a second life. See creativity come full circle. by @thelocalcollectivehd

ANOTHER DAY CLOSER TO BRINGING THE VISION TO LIFE! We spent the day at The Local Collective getting things done, and little by little, this space is starting to feel like OUR space! We had a few furry testers come in to test everything out, a couple of people stop by to chat and see what we’re working on, and the office is ALMOST COMPLETE! Every little bit of progress brings us one step closer, and seeing people already stopping by to connect makes this whole journey even more exciting. AND THIS WEEKEND, WE’RE TAKING ANOTHER BIG STEP! We’ll be purchasing the lumber and shiplap to start building our vendor shops! That means we’re moving from planning and preparing to actually building the spaces where our local businesses will showcase their products. This isn’t just about opening a store. It’s about creating a place for small businesses, makers, creators, and our community to come together and grow. Thank you to everyone who’s checking in, stopping by, lending a hand, and believing in what we’re creating. We can’t wait to show you what’s next! #TheLocalCollective #HighDesertSmallBusiness #VictorvilleCA #SmallBusinessCommunity #BehindTheScenes by @thelocalcollectivehd
