The New York Times came to Raleigh, and Raleigh showed out. 🙌

We're truly humbled to have two @lodenhospitality spots @thelongleafhotel and @guesthouseraleigh included in the NYT 36 Hours guide, and even more grateful to share the spotlight with @heightshousenc and the incredible community chefs, shopkeepers, curators, and park directors who were featured alongside us.

This city has something special going on, and we're just glad to be part of it. If you haven't visited lately, now you have 36 hours of reasons to.

Wait, what's that around the corner? 👀

Meet Viv's Fridge, now at The Longleaf Hotel & Lounge. Our guests have been quietly enjoying grab-and-go bites from local chef Vivian Howard, and we figured it was time to let you in on it too.

Think parfaits, signature dips, chicken salad, and more. Stop by, grab something good, and go... or enjoy it at the bar with a coffee or cocktail.

Before it was The Longleaf, this corner of North Dawson Street was a Days Inn, and before that, a Travelodge. Under the stucco, the original breeze block was still there, and we restored it. Same bones, totally different life. We'll take the neon sign and the original architecture, thanks.

When I travel part of what I love the most is finding hotels that match my style, I can’t wait to stay in. I’m obsessed with design and amenities and can confirm I found mid-century modern *heaven* in Raleigh. 🌲

@thelongleafhotel is a renovated 1960s motor lodge filled with so many cool retro details — from the furniture to lots of unique vintage touches and @thelongleaflounge cocktail bar that’s worth a visit even if you’re not staying there.

They’ve won a ton of awards and @thrillist named it the Coolest Hotel *and* Most Unique Hotel in North Carolina. ✨

If you love a good mid-century moment like I do, and find yourself in Raleigh, add this to your list! taken in Raleigh ,NC by @thelongleafhotel
