MĀLŌ FAMS!

Calling all Melbourne Pasefika — aiga, usos, tokos, cousins, aunties, uncles… and those “cousins” who aren’t actually cousins but somehow became family 👀🌺

If ya don’t know already - we’re hitting the stage in ‘HOLDING THE VĀ’ - a Pasefika theatre production written and directed by our very own Fulisia Asalemo Tofete (@polyroyaltee), as part of this year’s Melbourne Fringe Festival! 🎭🙌🏽

Come experience our stories, culture, humour and lived experiences brought to life on stage by Pasefika creatives. ❤️🌊

🎭 HOLDING THE VĀ
📅 14–18 October
📍 Bluestone Church Arts Space, Footscray
🎟️ $16.88–$32.50

We’ve got shows across five days, including two shows on Saturday and Sunday - so nobody better hit me afterwards with “Awww uso, I didn’t know when it was on!” 😭😂

I’m telling you NOW! 🤣

Bring the aiga, cousins, the gang and that one uncle whose laugh becomes part of the performance 😂

As for the Island Time crew… tell them it starts two hours earlier 😂

It would mean a lot to have our community in the room supporting Pasefika stories, creatives and performers. The more we show up for our people and our stories, the more space we create for them to be seen, heard and celebrated. 🙏🏽❤️🌺

MELBOURNE PASEFIKA - COME THROUGH! 📣🌺
Let’s fill the fale (theatre) 🎭

🇼🇸 🇹🇴 🇫🇯 🇨🇰 🇳🇺 🇹🇻 🇹🇰 🌺

🎟️ Grab your tickets:
https://www.melbournefringe.com.au/whats-on/events/holding-the-va

See you there, Fams! 🤙🏽🌺
