POSTS STORIES REELS

Unlearning the revolving door.

We can point fingers. We can replay the story. We can tell ourselves this time was different.

But what if the most important question isn't what happened to us?

What if it's asking why we keep finding ourselves in the same place?

In this final Men’s Mental Health Week reflection, Sunil Gupta explores the patterns, roles, and stories we carry from one experience to the next—and what it takes to finally step off the hamster wheel.

This excerpt is drawn from Sunil's book What You Don't Want to Hear, available on Amazon and linked in our bio.

What pattern are you ready to leave behind? 👇

We celebrate independence.

But rarely do we ask when it becomes isolation.

Many of us have been taught that strength means handling everything ourselves. No help. No support. No one else carrying any part of the load.

Yet some of our greatest breakthroughs happen because someone challenged us, supported us, listened to us, or reminded us who we are when we couldn't see it ourselves.

Strength isn't refusing help; it's knowing when to let people in.

This conversation is just one of many reflections explored in Sunil Gupta's book What You Don't Want to Hear. Available on Amazon and linked in bio.

Vulnerability isn’t weakness. It’s your superpower.

For generations, men have been taught that strength means holding everything in and pushing through alone.

But unspoken emotions don’t go away—they build up and show up in other ways.

In this reflection, Sunil Gupta speaks about what happens when we keep performing strength while struggling on the inside.

Real strength is being able to acknowledge what’s going on and let it be supported.

You don’t have to carry it alone.

This excerpt is drawn from Sunil's book What You Don't Want to Hear, a candid exploration of the conversations many of us avoid having with ourselves.

We are where we are meant to be in every moment. Yes, that moment of sheer heartbreak. Yes, that moment of monumental elation. Yes, yes, and yes. Highs or lows, the moment was experienced and what should have been appreciated or endured in the moment, somehow, imprinted & piggybacked itself into your present... Why though? ✨

"what you don't want to hear" is a real-time memoir of that journey. Your journey. My journey. The every (wo)man's journey.

Behold the mirror where your vibration is met with equal vibration, and the false illusion that somehow your relationship will be saved by your significant's heavier lifting is a recipe for a turbulent end. Chapter 6 invites you to melt away the story & reveal change that is within reach ✨

Those who cross your path or those whose paths you cross are the result of your collective vibrational mirrors working in unison - only the reasons vary. However, while vibration, in general, is collective - the individual experience is just that. Chapter Five invites you to witness and not be directly influenced by shit outside of you✨

Who polices the lines when you hold the box of crayons? Choice is not conditional, you are free to move as you need as long as you move in service of you & not at the expense of another. In. Every. Moment.

The world that exists beyond your light is a kaleidoscope of lenses, filters, opinions and expectations - none of which have anything to with you so why do so many of us allow them to shape and mold us?

"what you don't want to hear" is a real-time memoir of that journey. Your journey. My journey. The every (wo)man's journey.

I just spoke about it out loud.

You are where you are meant to be in every moment, so unless you can mark down your position to the very millisecond - save yourself the illusion of control, keep calm and carry on.

"what you don't want to hear" is a real-time memoir of that journey. Your journey. My journey. The every (wo)man's journey.

I just spoke about it out loud.
