Mike Evans just heard I’m giving away FREE Jerk Chicken Egg Rolls to the first 49 people 😭🏈😂
Somebody tell him “FREE FIRST” ain’t a last name—it’s the game plan! 🤣🥡
NINER GANG ❤️💛 Next Monday, October 19, pull up to The Lucky Spot for Monday Night Football and an @eggroland415 pop-up! We’re bringing big flavor, full bellies, and absolutely ZERO neutral fans at this table. 😤🔥
🥡 FREE Jerk Chicken Egg Rolls for the FIRST 49 people who show up!
🌽 FREE cornbread while supplies last!
🕓 Pop-up starts at 4 PM—come early and secure your snack before somebody else runs off with it!
We’re putting the JERK in the chicken, not in the group chat… so tag the friend who always says “I’m on my way” while still in the shower. 😂🚿
🎬 Big shoutout to @humnnetwork for the video edit! Had Mike Evans checking the giveaway rules mid-game 💀👏
📍 The Lucky Spot
📅 Monday, October 19
❤️💛 Come for the Niners. Stay for the egg rolls. Get here before the cornbread becomes a memory.

The Lucky Spot Mural 🤞🏼

📍The Lucky Spot Bar
(🗺️ 4 Card Alley)

The biggest benefits of painting in the street is getting to know the people of the neighborhood. North Beach was no different; from the charismatic bartenders, to the lady from Taishan running an Italian clothing store, hospitable Arabs hanging out at the coffee shop, local graff writers frequenting the bars, family friends in Chinatown and all my friends who dropped by to hang out.

The moment I finish a mural, I get a rush of memories of all my interactions from standing next to the same wall for hours. As if I've been in an autopilot trance, focused on putting colors where they need to be.

Thank you for the hospitality @theluckyspotsf & North Beach, good to have one in my old neighborhood 🫶🏼

Local bars are eschewing novelties in favor of an age-old attribute: conviviality.
.
Today, a connection to others is the defining feature with gregarious regulars, friendly bartenders, and spirited bonding around Giants, Dubs, Niners games. No pretense or pyrotechnics; just good old-fashioned socializing.
.
In other words, the neighborhood bar is back. This time, with better drinks.
