Special thanks to @miss_america_guzman for choosing TLL and @defined.training for the WBAI’s CLE panel discussion on the importance of maintaining health and wellness in the legal profession.

We led our first ruck in 2019.

With the support of our friends and community, we packed backpacks full of period products and marched supplies to the Chicago Period Project.

Fueled by feelings of solidarity from walking through Chicago with strong women, we swore we’d do it again.

As our fundraising campaign for the American Cancer Society comes to a close this month, our conversations with women about heath continue. And if you’re like us, then you love to “walk n’ talk.”

Join us at 9:30a on Sunday, October 22 at Defined Training for a solidarity walk to connect with other like-minded individuals who believe in the many benefits of movement.

〰️SO, WHAT’S A RUCK?
A long-time staple of military training, “rucking” is walking while carrying a load.

We think simple things are often the most effective—and rucking is exactly that: training that combines community, endurance and strength. We know we’re more likely to move and (keep moving) when we do it together. So together, we ruck.

〰️HOW LONG IS IT?
We'll take a three-mile loop from Defined Training to the lake at Montrose Harbor, and back again. You can choose a weight to carry or simply come for a stroll. Being together is what counts.

The reel you’ve all been waiting for.

Our dance class was electric. ✨🪩✨ And together, we raised over $400 in 1 hour for The American Cancer Society.

For some, dance can feel intimidating. But in a welcoming, supportive space like Defined Training, we feel empowered to try new things and create opportunities for our community to do the same.

Coach Lyss crushed the assignment and left us feeling energized, confident, and even more connected than we thought possible.

Thank you to all who danced, donated, and encouraged from afar. Your efforts go a long way in supporting TLL’s mission to uplift women on and off the training floor. by @thelungeladies

We’re still gushing over a beautiful evening, celebrating one of our strongest. 🥂

Our favorite part of Kate & Jake’s wedding? Seeing Kate wildly happy — stunning as ever — beaming from ear to ear. All night long.

The relationships we build on the training floor support us through every step of life. And moments like these remind us just how lucky we are to be surrounded by women we can call family.

Congratulations, Kate!! ☺️
We love you, and we’ve got your back.

There’s nothing more daunting than browsing the internet in an attempt to find a doctor with great reviews that accepts your insurance. And even if you find that person, there’s a good chance they’re booked until January.

Doctor googling is a gamble. And no one wants to waste time commuting to a health center or doctor’s office only to have a bad experience.

So, we put together a list of doctors our women trust. Bye bye 👋🏼 Google. Hello, health.

She’s giving gurl boss. 👊🏼💘

Congratulations to LL and triathlete, @carlyschmieds on a great race this weekend. She’s been hard at work — running, rowing, swimming, biking, lifting — all in preparation to use her fitness to fight for others.

She raced on behalf of ACS to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer. And she’s been instrumental in helping us raise funding to do the same.

We’re proud of you, Carly. Today, and every day! Thanks for sharing your strength with us — and many others, too. by @thelungeladies
