Not every workout feels like progress.

This isn’t today’s workout. This is Monday’s.

Monday was hard, but I was motivated and pushed through it. That’s pretty much how the rest of the week went.

But today? Today sucked.

I wasn’t motivated. Everything felt harder than it should have. I couldn’t finish some exercises and even had to drop my weights.

And my pull-up progression? Don’t even get me started. I’ve been working at it for what feels like forever, and some days I swear I’m getting nowhere.

Today was one of those days where I genuinely questioned why I’m even bothering.

I know progress isn’t linear, but that doesn’t make it any less frustrating.

I don’t have some big motivational takeaway. Today was hard, I was frustrated, and I just wanted to share that side of fitness too.

But I’ll be back tomorrow. 🤍

We were back at it today Axl even did a lap🤣@planetbayou . We got the old man @davejmacmillan on Slalom ski and it’s been over 25 years since he’s done that. @themacmillansride did great and finally was able to get the corners down! taken in Amaranth, Ontario by @themacmillansride

Making lifelong memories at such a fun place @planetbayou wakeboard Park in Amaranth Ontario. So fun and easy for all skill levels, they have everything you need from total beginner to the pros that we were able to see after we were done riding. We got this new coop and, obviously, I couldn’t just leave it the way it was.

So yesterday’s project was giving it a little makeover and getting the wood protected before the weather eventually destroys it.

I’m actually kind of obsessed with how it turned out.

The chickens probably couldn’t care less… but I love it. 😂

And I have a feeling this is only the beginning of the chicken coop projects. Next will be to figure out a ramp for them to go in and out, and build an enclosed run!
