To everyone out there, wherever you are:

Life moves fast. We work hard, worry too much, and sometimes carry burdens that were never meant to stay on our shoulders forever.

So here's a friendly reminder:

Don't take yourself too seriously. Nobody gets through life without making mistakes, looking foolish once in a while, or taking a wrong turn. That's not failure — that's living.

Laugh often. Forgive quickly. Say what you mean. Hug the people you love. Pet the dog. Watch the sunset. Drink the coffee. Take the trip.

The world doesn't need more perfect people. It needs more kind people, more grateful people, and more people who can smile at life's chaos and say, "Well, that was interesting."

Getting older isn't something to fear. It's a privilege. Every wrinkle tells a story, every scar marks a lesson, and every gray hair is proof that you've made it this far.

So keep your head high, your heart open, and your sense of humor intact.

To all my friends around the world:

May your days be filled with laughter, your nights with peace, and your life with moments that remind you how beautiful this journey really is.

Be good to others. Be good to yourself. And don't forget to enjoy the ride.

The years may add age, but they don't have to steal your joy.

🌍❤️ Cheers to life, friendship, and making the most of every single day. 🍻

You stayed right here beside me
Through the worst and through the pain
When the lights went out around me
You still knew my name
•
More than blood, more than promises
More than love that fades with time
You gave me something honest
A loyal heart beside mine

After 48 years of work, it’s finally time for me to say the magic words: “I’m retired!”

When I started all those years ago, there were no smartphones, no emails. I’ve seen a lot of changes over the decades: technology, fashion, and even office politics — but the best part has always been the people.

I was lucky to spend most of my working life around the world — meeting new cultures, making friends in many places, and sometimes getting lost in airports that all looked the same. Each stop along the way taught me something new, both professionally and personally.

Over the years, I’ve learned many important skills: how to survive endless meetings, how to stay calm when luggage doesn’t arrive, and how to look confident even when I had no idea what time zone I was in.

But jokes aside, I feel truly grateful for the opportunities, experiences, and friendships that these 48 years have brought me. It’s been an incredible journey — one I’ll always treasure.

Now I’m looking forward to a new adventure: learning how to relax, perfecting my morning coffee routine, and maybe even figuring out what “free time” really means.

Thank you all for being part of my story — I’ll miss you all more than I’ll miss my alarm clock! by @themadfred

Another day another dollar daylight comes I'm on my way.

Another day another dollar workin' my whole life away.

The boss told me I'd get paid weakly and that's exactly how I'm paid.

Another day another dollar workin' my whole life away.
