Years of lifting doesn’t mean you have to press lighter. It means you set up smarter. 👇

Getting heavy dumbbells into position is awkward, burns energy, and is often where cranky shoulders feel it most. Mad Spotter Hooks hold the dumbbells in the starting position, so you can:
✅ Skip the awkward kick-up
✅ Set your shoulder blades before you unrack
✅ Save your energy for the working reps
✅ Set up heavy presses safely when you train alone
To be clear: they won’t fix a shoulder injury. If your shoulder hurts, get it looked at. But in my experience, they let me keep training heavy with a lot less hassle.

@themadspotter sent me these to try out and honestly, they’re awesome. Instead of using my knee to kick up the weight and exhausting energy.. these have your dumbbells ready at your starting position. Also safer for your shoulders. Check em out! 💪🏻 Code Kbaratta for 10% off! by @themadspotter

The key to muscle growth isn’t how much you can lift. It’s how much you can lift efficiently from point A to point B throughout the movement.

“Chalk not permitted in weight area.”

Good thing we brought a better option.

Talk about a game changer for dumbbell pressing. The MadSpotter setup paired with PTI Grip made getting into position feel incredibly secure and controlled.

I’m still working around a rotator cuff issue, so being able to get the dumbbells into position without fighting the setup made a huge difference for me personally. I’m excited to keep building back up and push these heavier.

Simple. Easy on, easy off. Locked in when it matters.

If I had to guess I would say majority of people prefer barbell over dumbbell bench because it's so much easier to set up. Well, that has all changed with @themadspotter @mad.spotter.usa as you now can start from a racked position.

I'll be honest I've seen these for a couple years and never really thought it would be something I'd be interested in. However, shout out to Mas spotters for sending me these as I now see why so many folks have them. It makes dumbbell bench so much easier and more comfortable to set up.

This not only leads to a safer solution but you're going to push yourself much harder as you know you can just rack the dumbbells versus having to lug 100 lb plus dumbbells around.

P.S. feel free to nominate me for an academy award for the perceived struggle with those 50 lb dumbbells 😂
