Hey, Merlins human here - how freaking cool is this?!

I got a surprise message late on Christmas night saying “Hii, I have a little something for you” along with this. @valeriakarasu an artist who I follow surprised me with this piece she made while on twitch that night 🥹
I was absolutely overwhelmed, this was completely unexpected and means so much to me. I should have posted this straight away but I didn’t know what to post and I kept putting it off because I don’t know how to explain how special this is. I still don’t know what to say but I have to share this.

Thank you Valeria! I’m very very lucky and will cherish this. I encourage you all to check out their work.
I started following them after they had a very cool k-pop demon hunters design stolen last year.
For those who don’t know, I have some connections in the uk convention and art world and I love those people so so much. It makes me so upset to see work stolen but I’m very glad it introduced me to someone so cool. Valeria isn’t someone I’ve met, they aren’t from the uk. They’re just a very kind, very talented artist and I’m thankful I stumbled across their work

Human got some new (to her) boots, I got a new box. It was a great time, until I noticed the pawparazzi spying on me! 😾 will they ever leave me to enjoy a new box in peace??

Oh hey human, you’ve just got back from hospital? That’s great! I was here first and I’m comfy so figure something out?
I also stole her spot this morning when she got up to go to the loo 😹 she couldn’t get back in so I made her sit up for a while then get Mum to tempt me to let her get back to her ‘comfortable’ spot with treats. So satisfying!
.
Oh and human would like to know if anyone has tips for getting that sticky hospital glue off?

Excuse me? What do you mean you’re going away again?!
Human and the Karl have abandoned me again this weekend! Rude! But don’t worry, I spent most of yesterday snoozing in bed with Human and then I threw up all over her bed when I was done napping 😸
Make sure to check out the second picture >> to see how I snoozed my day away.

Nooo!! Human found my hiding spot! It’s a great little place to get a nice quiet nap in. This room in the garage is only used by me and it’s full of comfy spots to get a sneaky nap in when I don’t want anyone to find me 😸
Happy Whiskers Wednesday furriends! Do you have any fun secret spots when you don’t want to be found?

Happy Floofy Chest Friday!!!
That’s a thing right? It should be a thing. Mum and human are always telling me how handsome I am with my floofy chest 😸 now, if they could bring me second breakfast here so I could eat while watching those blackbirds that’d be great!

I love this time of year when the humans put all my tents up so I can spend all day outside and choose whether to nap in the sun or shade.
The last picture is currently my favourite tent to watch birds from in the morning before breakfast 😸
Do you like tents too furriends?

What do you think you’re doing human? You need to stay in bed with me today. I’m doing an important job here. No I’m not hiding from the small loud human in the house, I’m working! Now get back into bed and don’t try getting back up again…unless it’s to get me treats 😸

No humans, you cannot have this sock back.
It was naughty and needed to be killed, I’m not sure if it’s fully dead yet, you’d best just leave it with me 😼
