That one time I started over from scratch 😵‍💫 My first one hit 114,000 followers. And I walked away from it. Here’s what happened - a reel went mega viral, twice, bringing in over 16K new followers almost overnight. Right before Christmas. One of the lowest visibility seasons on this app. Most of those new followers never cared about what I actually posted, and the algorithm picked up on it fast. My content stopped reaching anyone, even the people who’d been there from the start. I sat with that for a while. Worked so hard to build something that suddenly felt unsalvageable. So in June of 2025, I made the call most people would never make. I started over. From zero. New account, same wisdom, same strategy, way more confidence than the first time around. 10 months later I crossed 10K followers, and the growth hasn’t stopped since. More than that - I’m converting better now with a fraction of the audience than I ever did with 114K. This account proved something I now believe with my whole chest - a small, engaged audience will always beat a big disengaged one. If you’re starting from zero, or starting over, I made a free guide breaking down exactly what I did differently this time. Heatless curler tutorial 🤍 Plus a few tips to get the best results! Typically I only need to wash, dry & curl my hair once a week. After that I just use my curler to maintain & refresh my curls. After a few days I’ll use a little dry shampoo as well. I also put a Velcro roller at the front to give my bangs some volume as well. So comfy to sleep in & washable!
