On May 1st, I will become the youngest graduate this semester in the School of Food and Animal Science at the illustrious Tennessee State University.

This journey has been nothing short of gratifying. I have worked tirelessly for every accomplishment that God has allowed me to achieve. Graduating high school at 17 and college at 21 has molded me into the woman I am today. I am grateful for the strait and narrow.

Thank you to my mother and grandmother for paving the way.
Thank you to my family for believing in the little girl from the South Side of Chicago. Your love and support mean everything to me.
Thank you to my friends, line sisters and loved ones for the comfort and encouragement along the way.

Ten years of mastering my craft. From the only agricultural high school in Chicago, to the only HBCU in Oklahoma, and now to my mother’s alma mater.

Three 4.0 semesters and two full-ride scholarships later…

One year of being a part of the most breathtaking sisterhood ever known to man. 111 years of hard work, dedication, and service!❤️

To my pros, bigs & my beloved BY: Thank you for instilling confidence and leadership into me. I love you all dearly and I am grateful for the relationships that I have built along the way.

To 25 Ambitious: 25 DB4L!!! I love y’all more than words could ever express. Each and every one of y’all individually and as a collective. We have laughed together, cried together and made so many memories that could never be replaced. No matter the circumstances, we locked in 4L. It’s us until the world over and after that.🤞🏾

To my mommy: Thank you for creating this legacy. Introducing me to Delta was one of the greatest gifts you’ve ever given me. I am so appreciative of the time you took to show me the principles and values of our beloved sisterhood. I am here because of your support and guidance. I am here because you believed in me and I am forever indebted to you for that. 💐

And as always, thank you to my 22 for paving the way.

12 days until I receive my Bachelors of Science in Agriculture from THE only HBCU in the state of Oklahoma. The ILLUSTRIOUS Langston University. Four years of being on a full ride scholarship, achieving my goals and accomplishing many more along the way.

Juneteenth: Triple Grad Party Edition!🥹👩🏽‍🎓

My family and I have started a new tradition to celebrate Juneteenth with a big backyard BBQ. This is our second year doing it except we have 3 new alumni in our household as of May 2026! 🥳

Chris (My Stepdad): Masters in Social Work
CJ (My Brother): Bachelors in Theater and Performing Arts
Me: Masters in Food and Animal Science

We had a BALLLLL like we always do. (TikTok we are all 21+😘)
