If we can’t get STEMS, can we at least get some pizza! 🙏🏼 by @themanleone

Here are the details:
- The CDJ is NOT running AI stem separation in real time like DJ software (Serato etc.) would

- The vocal separation is processed beforehand on a computer.

- The USB contains the normal Rekordbox track plus a prepared, sample-aligned vocal sidecar.

- The CDJ performs only lightweight real-time mixing:
- Both: original full mix
- Vocal: prepared vocal sidecar
- Instrumental: full mix minus the aligned vocal sidecar

- Vocal waveforms are also precomputed, so the CDJ isn’t generating them live.

- Button changes are handled locally on the CDJ with very low latency.

- The rear USB connection supplies no audio or processing. Once launched, the feature works standalone.

- This is currently a one-track proof of concept. A generalized version would preprocess each supported track before exporting it. by @themanleone

Guys, I fixed it! Never have tracks drift out of sync ever again! Have you experienced this issue before? Lemme know your experience with track drift in the comments ⬇️ Precision Mode coming soon to OverCue CDJ-3000 mods! by @themanleone

DJ app developers: your iOS app could support HID / App Control mode with CDJs! 🎛️📱

We’ve demonstrated CDJ control over Ethernet alongside USB audio to a DJM-A9, using one USB-C hub connected to an iPhone.

The setup:
• CDJs → Ethernet switch → iPhone’s hub
• DJM-A9 → USB data port on that same hub
• A9 Ethernet disconnected in our tested configuration

On Apple’s side, the key capability is Multicast Networking:
com.apple.developer.networking.multicast

You also need the user’s Local Network permission. Network Extensions isn’t required for this approach.

For an existing DJ app, the integration work is implementing the CDJ’s network control protocol: discovery, session authentication, control input and display/LED feedback, then mapping that into your existing decks.

Our prototype app shown here demonstrates control and mixer audio together. We skinned it to look like Serato, but it’s not the actual Serato mobile app.

V10 STEMs EQ for CDJ-3000 control out now!!! Update the app to the latest version of the app or download it at OverCue.gg by @themanleone

You guys want fader start option on the CDJ3000? by @themanleone

Am I doing too much? Or just right? 🤔 by @themanleone

What do we think? 🤔 Should I add it to the A9 mods? by @themanleone

Works by installing OverCue firmware on your DJM-A9. Just drop the stock 1.22 A9 firmware file into the OverCue app, and get back a modded update file with the STEMs EQ mod! Then just update your A9 with that version, install the latest 0.12.0 OverCue firmware on your CDJ300, and you’re good to go! by @themanleone

Locked my exposure for this video so you can really see the difference. Looks darker on camera but new level 1 is about as bright as when the CDJs go into dimmed idle mode. Coming soon to a new OverCue CDJ3000 firmware update! Follow for updates on new features! by @themanleone

CDJ-3000X stems, controlled from the DJM-V10.

With the OverCue mods, Stem EQ mode will give you this mapping on the V10:

LOW → Drums
LOW-MID → Vocals
HIGH-MID → Harmonics

Enable Stem EQ mode on your CDJ-3000 or CDJ-3000X, then control the stems in real time using the channel EQ knobs on a DJM-A9 or DJM-V10.

On the mixers, a red light at the top of the channel level meter flashes while Stem EQ mode is active, so you can see at a glance which channels are using it & won’t forget about it when playing live.

No need to copy and beatgrid separate acapellas or instrumentals anymore. Saves hours of your time and lets you now build your own live remixes as you play on your favorite equipment!

What would you remix first?
