🏃🏼‍♀️ Welcome to The Marathon Duo! 🏃🏼‍♀️

What started as Nai signing us up (without all the details 😅) has somehow turned into the biggest challenge we’ve ever taken on…

In April 2027 we’ll be taking on the Manchester Marathon 🐝 in aid of the Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal for Bristol Children’s Hospital. 💙

Between now and then we’ve got plenty planned… 10Ks, a couple of half marathons, races, events, fundraising and if Em hasn’t killed Nai by then… we’re taking on Lake Garda in 2028! 🇮🇹😂 which she doesn’t yet know 🤫

Emily’s never tackled anything like this before, so every mile, every finish line and every PB is going to be a huge achievement. We’re excited, slightly terrified, and probably questioning our life choices already.

And if you happen to spot us out running… a couple of doughnuts from @doughbrosbakery would be greatly appreciated. We promise we’ll earn them. 🍩😂

WE DID IT!!! 🥹❤️🎉

Family Fun Day was a HUGE success, and we are both so incredibly grateful to everyone who came along, drank the coffee, ate the cakes, entered the raffle, got roped into having a tattoo 😂 and spent the day having fun with their families!

A massive shout-out to our wonderful friends and family who helped make this happen. From the baking, donations and hard work, to everyone who jumped in to run a stall, we honestly couldn’t have done it without you! ❤️ We really weren’t expecting the turnout we had, and we’re so grateful for everyone’s support for such a wonderful cause. 🫶🏼

And the BIG news… with everyone’s generosity and HSBC matching a portion of the donations (got my uses after all 😂), we’ve raised an incredible £1,030! And it just keeps on coming! 🤯🎉

To everyone who donated, baked, volunteered or simply came along to support us, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Every little bit made a difference, and we’re blown away by what we’ve achieved together. ❤️

👀 Keep your eyes peeled for next year’s event! I won’t leave it all for Em this time 🙈😂

Time I gave Em a break….👀

Let’s be honest, my only job was looking after the writing icing pens… and I’ve lost them. ONE JOB! 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

A little bit of a different post! But she deserves all the appreciation going!!

My best friend. My running partner. My full-time supporter. 🥹❤️🏃‍♀️

The one who always gets me across that finish line, always believes in me when I doubt myself, and somehow always finds the energy to shout at me when I need it most 😂

There have been so many moments where I’ve wanted to give up, but she’s always there pushing me, encouraging me and reminding me that I can do it.

Honestly, without her, I don’t think I’d be able to do any of this. From the training, the tears, the laughs, the blisters and the finish lines — I’m so lucky to have you by my side. 🫶🏼

Here’s to many more miles, memories and probably a lot more shouting! 😂❤️

I walked. I ran. I struggled. I smiled. And I finished. 🏃‍♀️❤️

It wasn’t the race I pictured in my head, and there were plenty of moments when my body told me to stop. So I walked when I needed to (heartbreaking to say), ran when I could, and kept moving forward.

Because sometimes the biggest achievement isn’t the time on the clock — it’s refusing to give up. 🥹💪🏼

Proud of myself for getting to that finish line. 🏁✨
