There is beauty in the journey. 🇭🇹
And this is just the beginning.

I am the daughter of an immigrant. Before I even began, society handed me reasons why I wouldn’t make it, but I chose to write my own story. I didn’t rely on excuses; I found ways through them.

Throughout high school, I carried silent battles no one saw. Still, I showed up. I persevered, even when giving up felt easier.

63 internship hours.
300+ community service hours.
Varsity Cheerleader.
National Honor Society.
Business and Marketing Honor Society.
All-County, every year.
Lead in the School Musicals.
Varsity Choir and Jazz.
2025 Humanities Honoree.
30 hours dedicated to Child Trafficking Prevention and Education.
Over $100,000 in scholarships.

Each achievement came with sacrifice, growth, and resilience. I’m not finished yet, but I am already becoming everything I once thought was impossible. Thank you to everyone who helped me along this journey, including my family, my friends, my brother Dhilan, my church family, and God. Without you all, I don’t know where I’d be today. #GodDid #IMadeIt #ClassOf2026 #blackexcellence taken in G-TOWN by @themarymott
