🍵 Introducing our new series: Spill the Matcha!🍵

A series where we share a bit more about building a company with your best friend, the matcha market today, and how The Matcha Mates came to be.

First up: our name. 🚀

When we started, we knew we wanted the product to be at the heart of what we do. For us, matcha comes first. It’s why we’re here and what we’re passionate about. 🍃

At the same time, we have never seen wellness as simply something to optimise. We believe wellbeing is shaped by so much more than what we eat or drink. Friendship, connection, community, and the people around us all play a big part too!

And that’s how The Matcha Mates was born: a name that celebrates both our love a great product and the relationships that make life healthier, happier, and more meaningful.💛
