AAHH it's finally here!! 🍵📓✨

After years of loving, tasting, and talking about matcha, I created something that holds a little piece of that love — my very own Matcha Tasting Journal! 🥹🤍

It's a cozy little keepsake where you can record every bowl, remember your favorite matchas, explore different regions & cultivars, and keep track of all those tiny tasting details you never want to forget.

I poured so much love (and probs an unreasonable amount of matcha) into every page, and I'm soo excited to finally share it with you! 🌸

The Matcha Tasting Journal (whimsy version) is now available on my website — link in bio! 💕

Disclaimer: This is a digital product & can also be printed out if you want a physical journal ✨

Trying out @chaboys.my new Strawberry Matcha 🍓

Cultivar: Yabukita & Okumidori

This one feels like Chaboys’ Rika matcha with a delicate strawberry twist! 🍓🍵✨

I tried it without any sweetener first, and I was pleasantly surprised that you can still taste the matcha alongside the distinct flavor of strawberries. The strawberry isn’t overpowering at all — it’s more of a soft, fruity note that complements the matcha rather than taking over.

The matcha itself has a slightly bitter finish, so if you prefer a smoother and sweeter cup, I’d recommend adding just a little sweetener. Interestingly, the sweetness doesn’t just mask the bitterness — it actually brings out the delicate strawberry flavor even more, making the whole cup taste brighter and more balanced ✨

💭 My take: If you enjoy fruity matchas but still want to taste the matcha itself, this is a lovely option. The strawberry is present without being too loud, and a touch of sweetness really helps it shine!

Recommended ratio:
• 10g matcha powder
• whisk or froth with 50ml milk
• then add ice & 120ml milk into a glass!

thank you so much again for this giveaway prize! 💚

i'm back from a short trip in Bataan and two days without my matcha 🫨 i'm ok now 😀

alsooo, finally got to open this tin from @heapwellsuperfoods Imperial Japanese Matcha — a blend of Yabukita, Saemidori, and Okumidori cultivars ★

my thoughts •/ the dry aroma is creamy and has a sweetness to it and as a latte it's so umami, smooth, and silky. there's little to no bitterness and it definitely lingers on the tongue for a while making it a medium to full-bodied matcha. it's also got quite a vibrant green color!

added some Araro cookies that I got from the trip hihi ⚪️

Disclaimer: These are only my personal thoughts & opinions, taste may vary per person, I'm not a professional, I just love drinking matcha ✨
