Evacuating the plane! When you live on a small island, hurricane prep means flying your own plane to safety. ✈️🌴

Hurricane Erin is heading close to Puerto Rico. My Cessna 172 is normally tied down outside, so today’s mission was urgent—get her across the water to a secure hangar in Ceiba.

Bonus? My annual inspection’s due soon, so the timing couldn’t be better. She’s now safe inside… and I caught a ride back to Culebra to enjoy the calm before the storm. 🌊☀️
