Moments before I committed to the University of Alabama, I prayed and put it all in God’s hands, asking Him to make these next few months at home some of the most unforgettable memories I would carry with me forever. Looking back, that prayer has been one of the biggest blessings of these past few months. This summer has reminded me to slow down, be present, and be grateful for every day. I’m so thankful for this chapter and so excited for everything God has planned next.

One verse that has kept me grounded through it all is Joshua 1:9: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
