I knew a pyramid crystal was waiting for me in California. I told this to Nataly, right before I left on my trip.๐Ÿ”บ๏ธ You see for our Alien Outlaws Wild-West event on Oct 3rd, we want 3 big pyramid crystals to use as part of our alien altar by the beach.๐Ÿ‘ฝ๐Ÿค ๐ŸŒ…โœจ๏ธ Nataly & I both owned 1 already. But we needed a 3rd. As we planned our event, I suddenly just knew I'd find it in Cali. Sure enough it happened! The crystal was hiding in a dim little shop in Seal Beach.๐Ÿฆญ๐Ÿ– I'd just finished lounging on the beach in a floraly pink speedo that my fat ass literally hung out of (๐Ÿ˜†๐ŸŒบ๐Ÿ‘ lolz) & I decided to meander through Old Town. I grabbed a juicy burger n' fries that were sinfully delishy ๐Ÿ”๐ŸŸ & I touched all the gnarly, wise old trees that lined the streets. (The huge trees were my FAVE.)๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒด๐ŸŒณ As I walked by a souvenir shop, I suddenly felt my intuition tugging & had an almost insane urge to go inside. So I did. The first thing I noticed were lots of kitschy keychains, tees, & swim goggles.๐Ÿ‘•๐Ÿ“ฟ๐Ÿฅฝ Nothing special really. But I just knew the pyramid crystal was in this store. Don't ask me how I knew, people, I just did. I started walking up & down the rows, touching some coral on a shelf ๐Ÿชธ & running my fingers along some sea glass wind chimes to make pleasant tinkly sounds. I walked down every aisle, but I didn't see a pyramid anywhere. I shrugged my shoulders. "Eh, guess I was wrong." I made for the door. But then I immediately felt this insane tugging AGAIN. I knew I needed to walk back down the aisles. This time I literally called out in my mind, "Pyramid friend, help me find you."๐Ÿ’ซ It was on the last row that I found the pyramid tucked behind several items. It was so stunning & I picked it up & got the good kind of shivers. Found it! I thought for sure it was gonna be at least $100. I turned it over & saw a price tag. $55. Hells yeah!๐Ÿ™Œ At the counter, the gal said, "Oh my gosh, I've had my eye on this crystal for so long, I just love it & I was curious to see who'd buy it." I thought that was so cute. ๐Ÿ’› Then I was doubly shocked to find out it was actually half off, so only $27.50.๐Ÿ’Ž That's a wrap! โœจ๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฎINTUITION & MAGIC BANANA ISLAND, Part 2๐Ÿ๐ŸŒ *Continued from last post* When I got to the island, I strolled down the quaint streets named after precious gems & enjoyed gawking at the colourful houses & vibrant flower beds. Diamond Street had the grooviest homes. ๐Ÿ’Ž๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿต At one point, I was kinda tired of walking, but again that inner tugging pulled me over to another street. I kept getting this feeling that something really magical was waiting on that street somewhere. Sure enough, I found a frozen banana stand. I've never had a frozen banana before, & oh my god, it was pure bliss, people. I tried one with chocolate & oreos & literally had a food orgasm in my mouth, lolz. ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿคฃ I kept feeling like there was something else waiting for me on that street tho. So I walked all the way to the very end of the street, which was super long btw, and literally at the very end was a tiny little shop that advertised for palm readings. ๐ŸŒด ๐Ÿคฒ โœจ๏ธ I do readings for a living, but I RARELY get readings done for myself, to be honest. But I felt kinda excited & it felt right. I walked in & asked the gal if she did walk-in readings. She did & she was available! And it was just so damn cool & we really connected in a magical way.๐Ÿ’ซ๐Ÿฉท After that, I stumbled across some witchy crows, which are totally one of my spirit animals (I'm really working on my fear of birds, lol)๐Ÿฆโ€โฌ›, & I found my own cute lil spot on the beach & watched the sunset, & I maybe did an ocean magic spell. โœจ๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฎINTUITION & MAGIC BANANA ISLAND, Part 1๐Ÿ๐ŸŒ I've learned a lot about listening to my intuition over the years. So I really played with it in Cali.๐Ÿ’ซ๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒด Instead of having set plans, I decided to kinda just wing it all weekend & trust that I'd attract the experiences that would bring me the most joy. I initially made a large list of potential places to visit or things to do in Orange County, & each day I'd ask myself, "what's in my highest happiness to do today?" Sometimes I'd pick a beach off my list that my spidey senses would perk up over, sometimes I'd just drive around in my rental car til I found something that sparkled my interest.โœจ๏ธ๐Ÿ– When I decided to hit up the Balboa peninsula on Saturday afternoon, I had a feeling that parking would be especially gnarly, & I immediately doubted my decision to go. But that inner feeling kept tugging at me. So I trusted it and drove my ass over to Balboa & indeed, parking was a hot-mess express.๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ›ป๐Ÿš™๐Ÿš›๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿซ  I drove up 'n down each street several times trying to find a spot, but nada. All the paid lots were full too. At one point I was hot & hangry as hell & said out loud, "Universe, I felt like I needed to come here today, but there's literally no parking. And I'm sweaty & irritable & hungry, & you know that's a deadly combo for me. So if it's meant for me, can you please help me find an easy parking spot? I'll drive the strip one more time. If it's not meant to be, that's totally cool, I'll go somewhere else, cause ya boy needs to eat, ASAP."๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ”๐ŸŒฎ๐Ÿ— I drove down the peninsula one last time & literally on the last block when I was about to shrug my shoulders & drive away, a car pulled out of a spot and I glided in with ease. I loved that so damn much. The beach was lovely and I ate some killer nachos.โ›ฑ๏ธ๐Ÿง€๐Ÿฅ‘๐Ÿซ˜๐Ÿคค But the highlight was the $2 ferry boat that took me over to lil Balboa Island. It was pure nostalgia and reminded me of the dozens of times I rode the ferry from Manly Beach to Sydney Harbour in Australia, when I lived and worked there back in the day. ๐Ÿ›ฅ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ ๐Ÿชƒ *CONTINUED IN NEXT POST* taken in Balboa Island by @themattinthemoon

It was my time flying 1st class. ๐Ÿฉต๐Ÿ™Œโœˆ๏ธ And it was so completely unexpected, which made it magical. โœจ๏ธ I was craving a solo end-of-summer beach getaway to sunny SO Cal.๐Ÿ–๐ŸŒž So I hit up my cutie sis-in-law, Amy, who works for Breeze airlines to see if I could score a buddy pass. She had one, but it was standby. This is always a risk, & I've been bumped off of standby flights before. So I was a tad nervous, but hopeful.๐Ÿคž The night before my flight, I did a manifesting meditation. I pictured myself walking easily & blissfully onto the plane. I kept repeating, "I'm chosen 1st. I'm number 1. I'm always chosen..."๐Ÿ’ซ At the airport the next day, I felt really confident, but also a lil delulu. They don't let you know if you've made the flight until right before they start boarding, so I waited patiently until the right time & then asked the gal at the counter, "Hey if I made the flight and if there are extra seats, can I get a window seat by chance?" ๐Ÿ’บ๐ŸชŸ "Oh sure! We have extra seats, so no worries." She printed off my boarding pass & I celebrated. Success!๐Ÿ™Œ I didn't even look at my seat number until I was walking onto the plane. 1F. My eyes literally did a double take. Wait what?! ๐Ÿ‘€ When I saw that I was on the first row, in 1st class, I thought for sure it was a colossal mistake. I paused for like 10 seconds & kept looking at my ticket, haha. Finally, I sat down, a little bit perplexed. I immediately texted Amy. "Omg you got 1st class! How fun!" She said. I still thought I'd get kicked off at any moment, but I wasn't. That was when it hit me. Seat 1F. "I'm number ONE. I'm chosen FIRST." #1 First. This was a literal manifestion, right from my meditation! I was gobsmacked. ๐Ÿคฉ Needless to say, I loved my flight! The window view of the world outside was lovely, & I stretched my legs luxuriously & ordered a shit ton of snacks & drinks, just cause I could. I filled my backpack to the brim. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿฅœ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿธ๐ŸŽ’ My 1st class stop was the charming town of San Clemente & I watched the sunset from the pier. It was quite literally a perfect day. ๐ŸŒ… This is why I love energy work, having a spiritual practice, & working with the law of attraction. The scenic drive to Moab was deeply special. My cute buddy-buddy Mariam came along & we chatted about life, the Universe, & boys, lolz.๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿฅค Since Mariam had never been, it was fun to see the landscape through her fresh eyes. She was blown away by the red cliffs & creamy russet-brown rocks at Capital Reef, Goblin Valley, Corona Arch, & Delicate Arch.๐Ÿœ (She also booked us a funky teepee in Torrey to sleep in with faux animal fur blankets & rugs. I died.)๐Ÿป๐Ÿฆฌ๐Ÿคฃ As we drove through rustic town after town, Mariam said, "Cute, but may this life NEVER find me." ๐Ÿ˜‚ She's a chic city girl at heart.๐Ÿ’…๐ŸŒƒ๐Ÿ–ค My farm-town upbringing blows her mind a little.๐Ÿšœ We pulled into Moab on May 31st, my 5-year anniversary to the day I was drugged by a man I shouldn't have trusted & pushed off the roof of my home. I shattered many bones on the cement that day.โ˜ ๏ธ He walked out of my life, somehow turning it on me & making it all my fault, while I lay in the hospital suffering from the severe injuries he caused. It's a gnarly story, & it took 17-ish months for me to piece things together & remember what actually happened that day. Since then I've gained a strong voice & a deeper sense of empowerment. I'm healing up & I'm hella proud of myself. The scars & wounds are just a part of my story now. Even with the pain & horror, my life is wildly beautiful. ๐Ÿ’Šโ˜•๏ธ๐ŸŒ€๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿฆฝ๐Ÿฉผ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿฆพ What's cool is the fact I was hired for an event in Moab on May 31st. A gal found my website & requested psychic readings for employees on vacation at Ulum Moab, a luxury glamping resort. I'd get paid ridiculously well, stay 2 nights for free, & have a catered dinner with the group.๐Ÿ˜ At first I was shocked by the May 31st date. But then I smiled. I knew this was a special gift from the Universe. A way to celebrate being so deeply alive. I felt seen & so loved.๐Ÿ’ซ๐Ÿฅฐ The desert moon was bright that night, the campfire crackled, & it was pure magic to do intuitive readings for each special guest.๐ŸŒ™๐Ÿ”ฅโœจ๏ธ What a treasure to celebrate my talents on the anniversary of the worst day of my life. Did you know that my bedroom mirror is a magick portal? ๐Ÿชžโœจ๏ธ I can totally step thru it to other realms. I inherited a crystalline key from a mysterious hooded stranger, & it inserts into a hidden key hole that's activated by the key. ๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ— A rainbow tunnel opens up once it's unlocked, & I step through the mirror into a colourful hallway filled with dozens of shimmery doorways leading to different realms & dimension. ๐Ÿšช๐ŸŒˆโœจ๏ธ Trippy!๐Ÿ˜ป Before traveling, I need permission from the Powers that Be & there are a few realms I haven't seen yet. Oh & I can't tell you who the Powers that Be are, even though you're prob DEAD CURIOUS. It's very hush-hush. ๐Ÿ‘ฝ๐Ÿ›ธ๐Ÿ‘พ๐Ÿ˜˜ Anyway, lately I've been given the green light๐Ÿšฆ๐Ÿ’š to visit ancient Lemuria & their watey kingdom. The beautiful wooden doorway has palm trees & a watery isle carved around the edges. A conch shell is inlaid in the center, & I have to place my palm over it. My finger print is scanned with a pink laser light & this opens the doorway. ๐Ÿš๐Ÿ I legit grow fins, scales, & a lovely tail every time I dive into their wild world! My tail is this really pretty silver with purple accenting & my scales are kinda indigo-bluey. I can always feel these unique crystals forming over my third eye, too. Like what?! This helps me understand their language & all their mysteries.๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿงœโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿงœ๐Ÿฟโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿงœ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŒŠ Oh & I can breathe underwater like a lil fish. ๐Ÿซง๐Ÿ ๐Ÿชธ I'm GAGGED. I'd say more, but I haven't been given clearance to share that the Lemurians are like MEGA psychic & they've harnessed crystal energy to power their world, like electricity. They use crystal energy to heal disease & pain, too, & they can live for hundreds of years. Aging is just an illusion, after all. โœจ๏ธ๐Ÿ’Ž๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ’ โšก๏ธ Oops! Even mermaids use the Laundro-Matt. ๐Ÿงœโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ›’๐Ÿซง๐Ÿงผ I had this whimsy weird idea to be a domestic merman, just for the hell of it. You know, he cooks, reads fantasy, waters his lil plants, chats on his shell phone, & dabbles in magic & tarot. All with a shimmery tail. ๐Ÿงœโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿณ๐Ÿ›๐Ÿธ๐Ÿงฝ๐Ÿ’ง๐Ÿชด๐Ÿš๐Ÿ“–๐ŸŒธโœจ๏ธ Jeri @jerijonisephoto was the BEST photographer for this deliciously strange photoshoot. Thank you for bringing the ocean to my kitchen & for helping move my giant-ass tail around town.๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ  ๐Ÿ“ธ Thank you @ladyymariam for doing my lovely makeup. ๐Ÿชฎ๐Ÿ’„ And thank you @aqua_natives for letting me borrow your fabulous fins! (Annie actually teaches mermaid swim lessons. It's an otherworldly experience. I'd had this clever idea for over a year, but I saw myself with abs in my photos. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ๐Ÿงœโ€โ™‚๏ธ Trust me, I worked my tail off (pun intended) to get my body back that I had before all my horrific injuries 5 years ago. And I've made tons of progress. ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿฆฝ๐Ÿฉผ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿฆพ๐ŸฆฟBut I've also had setbacks, & it didn't quite happen the way I'd hoped. Leading up to this photoshoot, I dealt with hideous pain flareups in my body, which brought up frustrating emotions. I allowed myself to swim in them, so I could find deeper healing. Then my poor gut went total haywire.๐Ÿ˜ตโ€๐Ÿ’ซ The morning of this shoot, my stomach was painfully swollen & nauseous & I didn't feel an ounce sexy. ๐Ÿ˜ญ But I decided to show deeper compassion, love, & gratitude for my body that has carried me thru so much trauma & healing. I said, "fuck it," got dolled up, squeezed my bloated booty into a fabulous tail, & stepped into a mer-mazing character. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’…๐Ÿงœโ€โ™‚๏ธ I'm so glad I did! We had SUCH fun! Strangers at the laundromat were enamored & thanked me for serving magic on their mundane day. Neighbors on the street waved curiously as I lounged about on the lawn, all mer-tastically. ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒผ๐Ÿต I actually felt hot as hell.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿซฆ๐Ÿ”ฅ My advice? Don't wait for perfect moments. Do the art now! Be wonky & silly & sexy & sly. If the end result is imperfect? Even better. Scene: Matt lounges naked on a nude white sand beach with bendy palm trees in the In-Between and has a large bowl of strawberry trifle. His teeth literally dazzle in the sunlight, his eyes are emerald green, and his hair somehow manages to look perfectly dishelved in a jaunty, devil-may-care sort of way. Two Spirit Guides also lounge about in various states of heavenly undress, and they laugh as they review his various earth incarnations. ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿจ๐Ÿ Matt: "Omg, do you guy's remember that one time when I was hot, blonde, and French?" He takes a generous bite of trifle and speaks around a mouthful. "And when I was mega wealthy and was gonna sail in my father's boat around the world, just cause I had like oodles of money and could?"๐ŸชŽโ›ต๏ธ Spirit Guide #1, who has turquoise skin and long brown hair to her butt. She is sunbathing on a rainbow striped beach towel: "Ugh you were such a pill in that life! I couldn't get thru to you at all. But totally hot, I agree." ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ– Matt: "But then I fell off that ledge while hiking one day right before my travels, thanks a lot guy's, and I was super injured and paralyzed from the waist down. So then I was hot, blonde, French, AND in a wheelchair." He rolls his eyes.โ›ฐ๏ธโ˜ ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿฆฝ Spirit Guide #2, who is basically an elven Legolas hunk with striking light blue icicles for eyes.๐Ÿฉต๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฉต He is tracing lovely patterns in the sand with a crooked stick. "Sorry, babe! But you needed to experience a painful fall in that life, to prepare you for a different future time. If it makes you feel better, I sat with you thru it all. You were very unpleasant company, I might add, you just yelled at the Heavens a lot, but I never left your side." Matt: "Oh I guess that's fine and all. I do remember being super salty and whiny the whole time, and I ordered my poor house maid, Cynthia, around a lot. I was like, "Bitch, give me cake and wine on the double, or else!"๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿท The scene ends with all 3 laughing hilariously. Especially cause now Cynthia is mega hot, rich, and Swedish. It was kinda dark and weird inside my cocoon. And everything felt like it was falling apart. Was I bleeding? Was my body breaking apart? Oh my god, I don't even know. I felt super emotional all the time in that strange blackness too. There was a part of me that wished I could go back to my days as a precious lil green caterpillar, munching away on leaves. ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ› But there seemed to be this inner tugging. An intuition that I needed a major change in life. So I spun myself into a tight little chrysalis. Don't ask me how I did it. I just kinda knew what to do, people. It was intrinsic. Magical. Psycho. Spooky. Energetic. Spiritual. Sad. Cool.๐Ÿ’ซโœจ๏ธ Anyway, now I'm a bad-ass butterfly. Just like that. One day I was wrapped up mummy-tight and wondering if I had become death. ๐Ÿ’€ The next, I saw the glow of sunlight peeking back at me as I broke free of my tomb.โ˜€๏ธ I suddenly had fugging wings and felt drawn to the nectar of all these lovely flowers like a sugar addict. ๐Ÿฆ‹๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒผ๐Ÿชป๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฉ๐Ÿฌ The other day, I saw my wings reflected back at me for the first time when I hovered over a bird bath. I almost shit a brick and was like, "Oh my god, what the actual frick-a-lick happened to me?!" ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿง๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿฆ‹ I was seriously shocked by how different I looked. But the more I stared at my strange new reflection, taking in the geometric patterns of gold, black, orange, red, and brown, I thought to myself, "Damn, Self, I am fine as hell with these wings. I mean, I was pretty cute as a caterpillar, but this is like next-level WHOA. And what an interesting height and new perspective I've gained. Huh! I'll be dickery-docked!" ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿงกโค๏ธ๐ŸคŽ True story. This literally happened to me last month on my 41st birthday. ๐Ÿ˜˜ So naturally, I simply needed to throw a bodacious butterfly birthday bash for me and a few of my friends. Did I make my friends go on a very elaborate butterfly scavenger hunt during said party? Mmm hmmm.๐Ÿ•ตโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿฆ‹ And did I put on a very theatrical production dubbed "Metamorphosis Matt" at my party? Why yes I did.
