Most people think freedom is found in the absence of constraints.�
It’s not. It’s actually in the capacity to stay.

True freedom is earned and oftentimes hard fought. It lives in the moments when you stop fighting your life and allow yourself to fully feel it.

To tell yourself and others the truth.

To not abandon yourself when things get uncomfortable.

To be truthful about what you see.

Thing is, it takes guts.

Courage.
Honesty.�

What if the thing that makes you feel like the odd one out is actually the most regulated, honest, and alive part of you?

We live in a world that rewards avoidance. Numbing. Distraction. Performing instead for feeling and expressing.

That makes it so that when you become someone who takes responsibility, has the hard conversations, feels your feelings instead of bypassing them, and tells the truth even when it’s uncomfortable, you stop matching the room.

And that? Well that can feel really awkward and can bring on a particular flavor of loneliness… of being an outsider.

That said, lonely and wrong aren’t the same thing.

If you’re out there communicating like a champ, keeping your heart open, allowing yourself to have feelings, and being honest, you’re not the black sheep boo, you’re the blueprint.

You may simply have courage that others don’t and are here to embody a different way of relating, of leading, and of being a perfectly imperfect human in the process of growing.

So I urge you to consider: If what keeps you healthy is what makes you feel like you don’t fit in…

GOOD.

That might be your integrity showing. ;)

Most women don’t skip saving or investing because they’re irresponsible. They skip it because somewhere, deep down, they believe someone else will handle it.

That’s not a character flaw. That’s conditioning. Hollywood. Disney. Hell, even our economic system.

But conditioning has consequences… and in this case, they will show up later, at the exact moment in life when you don’t want to be scrambling.

The question isn’t whether the belief is there. It’s whether you’re willing to let it keep running.

If you do not define what “enough” means for you, the world will and I will always move the goalpost.

If you’ve never sat with this inquiry I encourage you to consider:

What would have to be true for you to feel like you are enough?

In my experience, the first time most women answer this, the list is long.
Not because it is true, but because it was inherited.

Take a look at your list and ask yourself one more question:

Do I actually believe this?

As I mentioned yesterday, the largest wealth transfer in history is happening right now and women stand to benefit the most.

Why?�
Because we live longer. This means we inherit not only as daughters, but also as spouses. In fact, by 2030, women are projected to control nearly two thirds of consumer wealth in the United States.

Honey, That’s not just money. That’s power. That’s influence.

That is real time consequential decision making!

$124 trillion.

That’s the estimated amount projected to move from older generations to Gen X, Millennials, and some Gen Z between now and 2048.

And here is what most people are not talking about… A significant portion of that capital will land in the hands of women.

Widows. Daughters. Partners. Founders. Stewards.

Life is once again showing us her wisdom and at the exact moment the world feels unstable, extractive, and on fire… she’s quietly rebalancing the scales. But here is the tension.

Research shows that roughly 72 percent of Americans don’t feel confident managing a financial windfall. Not because they are incapable but because no one trained them to think like stewards of wealth and resource.

This isn’t about getting rich. This is about becoming resourced enough to do the things that will move the needle in a different direction:

- Invest consciously.
- Preserve what matters.
- Fund what is life affirming.

We’re meant to be hearth, a steady source of warmth that holds grief, fuels courage, and makes space for what comes next. We grieve what has been lost, we fight what harms, we build what has never existed before, and we rest so the work can continue. This is the long becoming.

If you benefit from a system that has harmed others, you have influence inside that system.

Influence comes with responsibility.

Saying “I didn’t personally do anything” might be factually accurate but it does not move the conversation forward.

Accountability is not self blame.
It isn’t self hatred. It’s self awareness in action.
It is the courage to say: ‘I come from this history, I carry this identity, and I choose to embody something different.’

If more people took ownership instead of getting defensive, more people in pain would experience allyship instead of dismissal and we would actually get somewhere.

You don’t change culture by distancing yourself from it. You change it by transforming how you show up within it.
