13 YEARS OLD! Happy birthday to my son, my biggest flex, and the highlight of my life. 🖤🎂

Your grades are immaculate, you put in work in sports, and the way you listen and carry yourself makes me proud every single day. But what means the most to me is your heart. Watching how you treat other kids, how you engage with adults , and how you interact with people says so much about who you are. You’re one hell of a kid, son.

Being your dad is the greatest title I’ll ever have. As much as I’m here to teach you, you give me reasons every day to keep growing and becoming better, too.

Welcome to your teenage years! Keep being yourself, keep working hard, and keep that good heart. Through every chapter, every challenge, and every win, Dad is right here.

I love you more than any post could ever explain. My son. My pride. My biggest flex. ALWAYS. 💙🤞🏾 @doodiedoesit by @themayorcm

After a several-year hiatus, 2realist returned this summer with Fly Famous 4, the latest installment in a series that began with the group’s debut album in 2008. Now, the Las Vegas duo says another project, Fly Famous 4.0, is set for release over Labor Day Weekend—and that’s just the start.

Reactions to Fly Famous 4—including social media shout-outs—reminded the duo that its audience was still listening, pushing them to increase their output this year with a mix of old and new songs.

The release date of Fly Famous 4 happened somewhat by accident. According to 2realist, the duo uploaded the project on 702 Day, July 2, and watched it gain traction without direct promotion, evoking memories of their first release in the series, which they say gained popularity during the MySpace era.

Creo ‘Fastlane’ Austin, one half of 2realist, said in an interview with News, From the Margin, that the duo is similar to Clipse, calling themselves brothers, but 2realist was never supposed to happen. Their mothers had children with men from rival Westside gangs, yet built a bond rooted in friendship and survival that helped set Austin and Morgan ‘Mook’ Harris, the group’s other half, on a different path—one they could call their own.

“We like the perfect representation of Vegas—1000%,” Austin said. “On whatever level they want to speak on—whether it’s a rapper, a man, a human being, because it don’t get more authentic.”

Today, I celebrate more than another year of life—I celebrate growth, discipline, and becoming the person I’ve challenged myself to be.

This past year, I made a commitment to take myself seriously. My health and my wealth became priorities. I locked in, changed my habits, started eating better, taking care of my body, and investing in myself mentally, physically, and spiritually.

It hasn’t been easy. Discipline never is. There are days when it’s tough, days when motivation isn’t there, but I’ve learned that the ability to stay committed when it’s hard is what separates growth from excuses.

The beautiful thing about challenging yourself is realizing just how much you’re capable of. Every obstacle I’ve overcome this year has shown me that I can accomplish anything I put my mind to. And the crazy part is—I haven’t even scratched the surface of who I’m becoming.

I’m just getting started.

I hope my journey has inspired some of you to challenge yourselves, prioritize your health, pursue your goals, and become the best version of yourselves. Trust me, it’s worth it.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out, sent birthday wishes, supported me, and been part of this journey. I appreciate you all more than you know.

Here’s to another year of growth, purpose, and becoming everything I’m destined to be. 💯🙏🏾
