I had the absolute honour of hosting Sister Olabisi Olufunlayo Ibitoye’s 60th birthday celebration in Dartford this weekend, and what an unforgettable event it was!
From a powerful time of worship led by the celebrant, her sister Ronke, and Sis Ore Ediale, to an interactive alphabet music game that had the entire room on their feet—the energy was unmatched. Guests flew in from the US and in and around the UK to shower her with love, and hearing the heartfelt tributes from her family made it clear just how deeply cherished she is.
The night was packed with high energy, dancing, great food, and pure celebration at the Temple Hill Community Centre. Seeing the joy on our celebrant’s face made every moment worth it!

She didn’t ask me for a portfolio. She just said, “I like how you anchored that event.”

A few weeks ago I served as MC at the Service of Songs for the late Pastor Mrs Ogundimu at Hackney Marshes. The lovely decorator that day, Iyalode @omoclay , was watching. I didn’t know it.Then this message arrived:

“I’m the lady who did the decoration for the late Pastor Ogundimu at Hackney Marshes. My client asked if I knew a good MC, and I said yes — because I liked how you anchored that event. Will you be available for a birthday celebration on the 21st of July?”

Champion, I felt so honoured. When I arrived on the day she said, “Wow, I’m so happy they went with you. I know you’ll do a good job.” Thank you mama xx

And what a day it was. The room was packed with family and friends who travelled in from everywhere to celebrate Princess Omolara Goloba Aladegbola — a true royal, and beautiful inside and out.

But it was the tributes that blew me. Her husband. Her children. Her mum. Her siblings. Her friends. Every single one of them said the same thing in a different way: this woman has a heart for people. Caring. Loving. Accommodating.

It was my first time meeting her. Something tells me it won’t be the last.

I left with more lessons than I brought.

No videos this time, forgive me — it was a Tuesday, I went straight from uni to the event in this outfit (imagine the comments 😅) and my sweetie, who normally films for me, had another engagement. Pictures to follow when I get them.

I had the honour of hosting Abraham and Janette’s wedding on Friday, and the joy in that room was so real you could almost touch it! Watching this clip back made me smile all over again, so this week it’s my prayer for us all.
For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.” Psalm 5:12 (KJV)

May this new week bring us endless reasons to dance and celebrate. May new doors open for you and I, with our steps being ordered and success following us in everything we do. May everyone who hears us or sees our work respond with favour. May we walk under an open heaven, stepping into everything God has written about us.

Yesterday, Friday, October 9th was an absolute vibe!
Some weeks ago, I received a message from Pastor Ola asking if I would host her son’s wedding. My response was immediate: “It would be my absolute honour.”
Little did I know, I was being invited to MC an unforgettable celebration!
It was a magnificent cultural union where Nigeria met Guinea-Bissau 🇳🇬✨🇬🇼. Everything about the day was stunning, from the incredible food and the live band to the DJ who kept the energy high all night. The guests, friends, and family were such a lively bunch and came ready to party! You already know my rule: there’s no dulling on my dance floor! 💃🏽🕺🏽
The couple were pure joy! The bride and mother dance was so beautiful to watch... and oh wow, you needed to see Pastor Ola, the mother of the groom, take to the stage! When she and her son got on the dance floor, they set the whole place on fire! 🔥 Energy on 100!
To say I had a fantastic time serving as MCJolly is a total understatement (and getting sprayed with dollars was definitely a sweet bonus.
A massive thank you to Pastor Ola for allowing me to be part of her family’s joyous celebration.
Huge congratulations to Abraham & Janette on a breathtaking wedding day! May your home be filled with endless joy, God’s abiding presence, and rich blessings.

What an awesome weekend! When Pastor Alex and Pastor Judith put out the invitation of the Ladies of Excellence gathering in the Netherlands, we knew we had to be there and for sure exceeded our
expectation. From the powerful Word and moving testimonies to the incredible warmth of everyone we met, we were truly treated like royalty by our hosts and the graceful team.

A big shoutout to the Novotel Rotterdam Brainpark—it was such a beautiful, comfortable home away from home with fantastic staff and a great atmosphere.

Between the spiritual refreshment, sightseeing, and shopping, my husband and I came away with so many valuable lessons to reflect on. Would we make the journey again? In a heartbeat!
