🚨I Am Not okay 🚨

I know it was Friday, I just needed some time, you guys. 🤍 I needed time to breathe, process, cry, and find the words.
I am NOT okayyy. Losing my mom has broken something in me that I can’t explain.

But I’m forever grateful I listened to that feeling that told me to go be with you that day. I got to spend your LAST day right beside you, and that is something I will carry with me forever. 🕊️

The beauty of grace is loving someone without expecting anything in return. I didn’t take care of my mom for money, recognition, or because I had to. I did it because I loved her. And while some people chose to walk away, God gave me the opportunity to stay. I’ll let that speak for itself.

And to my FAMILY who put everything aside and showed up for me during the hardest moment of my life—THANK YOU. ❤️ You showed me the kind of family I always prayed for.
Mom, I have a million videos, but this one means everything. I’m grateful I was right there with you. I love you forever. 🤍🕊️

To all my mothers, caretakers, and the ones loving their moms through sickness, distance, pain, or heartbreak… today is not easy for all of us. Some people are grieving a mother they lost, and some of us are grieving a mother who is still here but slowly changing before our eyes. Both kinds of pain deserve love, patience, and understanding.

Mother’s Day can be beautiful for some and heavy for others, so hug people a little tighter today. Check on the strong ones too.

Happy Mother’s Day to my mom. This season has been one of the hardest seasons of my life, but through every stage — from when she was outside doing her thing to now — I never left her side and never will. Love looks like showing up, even when your heart is breaking. 🤍

You carry the responsibility. The worry. The sacrifices. You show up even when you’re exhausted. You smile even when you’re overwhelmed.

BUT HEAR ME—YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO DO THIS ALONE.

Find your sisterhood. ❤️
Have that best friend you can cry with at ANY hour, understands your pain.
Stay close to the family who understands without you having to explain every detail.

You need people who can sit with you in the hard moments, laugh with you in the good ones, check on YOU, and remind you that you’re more than your responsibilities.

Because being strong doesn’t mean carrying everything by yourself.
