The battle with hair algae continues…
It was so dense it clogged the siphon hose, had to use the garden hose to clear it the blockage.

Sponge filter hasn’t been working, previously checked the air pump and check valve. Really didn’t do much to the filter to get air flowing again. Airline must have gotten kinked somewhere along the way. Tank needed some love so figured a water change made sense.

Time for a hair (algae) cut. Went out of town for a few weeks and hair algae moved in. Not the biggest deal but will lower the lighting and feed less to limit excess nutrients in the water.
