To my Kayla, I thank God for allowing me to be your little sister. Truly a bond that can never be replaced and one that I will always cherish with my heart. I can’t lie, this messed me up, I’ll never understand the why’s behind it but clearly God had a bigger plan for you. Thank you for the wisdom you instilled into me. Thank you for pushing me beyond my limits, always telling me how proud you were of me and pushing me to be more confident in myself. Thank you for the numerous laughs, rants, fashion tips, heart to hearts, and more. The fact that you did more in 35 years than most people lets me know that you lived life to the fullest. Always smiling, bright, and bubbly - literally could walk into any space and light up the entire room, that was just who you were. It was a sacred space where strangers met without fear, laughter flowed without force, and friendships were born in moments that felt divinely timed. She believed connection could heal, that no one should ever feel alone in a room full of people.This final Mingle is not an ending, but a transition. The business she built with love did not close—it ascended. The tables she once set on earth now exist in heaven, where love gathers endlessly and every soul is known.Today, we honor her by gathering the same way she taught us to: open-hearted, present, and willing to connect. Mingle Experience goes to heaven with her, but the community she created remains forever intertwined.We love you so much our sweet girl. What you’ve built could never be lost, taken or replaced. My Dear Mickey, My Big Sissy, My 1st Best FriendWords can't even explain how much pain I feel from your passing but that's not what I want to focus on. I want everyone to know how much of a mentor, mogul, trendsetter, and light you were to those around you. From as far back as I can remember you've always taught me how to carry myself with grace and poise, how to treat everyone with equal respect/kindness, and how to always hold my head high no matter what room I stepped into. You're the first person to teach me how to style myself, take pictures, always keep my lips popping lol (iykyk), and most importantly how to always be myself no matter who's around. Your infectious LOUD laugh has carried onto me and so did your smile showing all 32 teeth. I'm proud of all you've accomplished from managing at Forever 21 all the way to being on Big Brother; all of it has inspired me to work as hard as I do today. No one's work ethic can top yours but I plan on matching it as you always motivated me to be the best version of myself. We balanced each other perfectly as you were alwaysss over the top and I was quietly sitting by letting you be as dramatic as ever but that's what I loved most about our dynamic. One thing that was the same was our humor as I can't remember a time we weren't laughing and joking no matter where we were. I will miss you very much but I am glad I was able to be there in your last moments doing your makeup and making sure your edges were on point (because you would haunt me if I didn't). ✨🕯️Mingle Experience: Silent Nights by @viaraewines ✨Mickey believed in community and she believed in the power of finding your people. We all migrated here to Atlanta from different states and each of us created our family and in the two years of knowing her and attending so so many of her events, @mingleexperience grew in that community and I became part of her family ✨“Shout out to all my peaches in the A” 🫶🏽I was known as the “content girlie” when Mickey first met me and introduced me to her friends turned my friends 😂❤️ Because those of you who know me know I CAPTURE everything ! All those moments I’ve captured of our friend and her events are now monumental to what she was building ! There’s no way on earth I could have thought I would be capturing @themickeyclee greatest performance and her last. She could always expect me to show up and capture her recap, so it was normal for me. But she gave this poem like she was gifting us a STRONG memory of her. This is the way she wants to be remembered ❤️ She moved with grace all Friday night and those who were in attendance could agree ! So thank you Mickey for giving us this last piece of joy you left us with. You left this earth doing what you love and my God friend it was beautiful per usual and you looked beautiful. I wish our hug could’ve been way longer ! I thank you parents and family for sharing you with us. ✨❤️Silent Nights was one hell of a title for your last Mingle Experience Mickey ✨🕯️ But that poem wasn’t silent at all it was a testament of you’re great resilience ❤️✨ I hope you know you’ve made us all proud.
