As we settle into the new academic year, we reminisce on the successful pilot session of: A Day in the Life of a DJ that took place back in June. I had the idea to take my students on an educational based tour through a record shop (thank you @roughtradeeast), to give insight into the world of records; followed by hands on experience at a grass roots radio station. @venxm.music did an incredible job of facilitating this workshop and I am so grateful to @dalstonradiolive for collaborating with me on this passion project. A lot of impactful ideas have sprouted from this synergy so watch this space for further works from us with a focus on the youth.

Thank you to @3flavourscornetto and @_theokennedy_ for capturing the day and @priv8.ab for the edit of both this and the long format visual also. And of course a big thank you to the parents of my students for allowing me to make publicly available content from the project.
