The King of Kanto final was an incredible show with back-to-back-to back great performances from the 11 finalists. Congratulations to @yumamorikasa and @noflow.ryo for taking the crown 👑 and @harucomedy for rounding out 3rd place, but really it could have gone any number of ways. What a special night and a wonderful way to wrap up the 3rd Tokyo International Comedy Festival!

Thanks to the tireless work of @tcb.photography I have realized my on-stage body language gives big “no no let me explain what craft beer REALLY is” energy 😭
Two more chances to catch me at the @tokyocomedybar festival, both TONIGHT: 5pm Rolls For Initiative and 9pm King Of Kanto finals! #comedy #standup #middleagedwhiteguy by @themikepaxman

We got engaged yesterday at 彫刻の森 in Hakone, a sculpture park that both of us have fond memories of from years past. Hakone was also the first place we visited when we started dating, so it felt very appropriate as an engagement spot.

Mike proposed using matching rings that we made the day prior, and Hayaki said yes! We’re very excited to start the next chapter of our lives together, and want to thank our friends & family both in Japan and around the world for all the kindness and support you’ve shown us.
