Dear A&T,

Thank you. I remain deeply humbled and honored to have served as your 19th Mister North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University.

This experience has been far more than a title; it has been a defining chapter of growth, leadership, and purpose. Thank you for trusting me to represent you, for challenging me to rise, and for supporting me throughout every step of this journey.

To the Ujima, Change, and Dream Administration, thank you for your guidance, mentorship, and commitment to my development as a leader. Your impact is lasting.

North Carolina A&T, you have not only shaped my path-you have strengthened my foundation. I will carry this legacy with pride and responsibility in all that I do.

“For everyone to whom much is given, of him much will be required.” — Luke 12:48

With sincere gratitude,

And if I had to do it all over again, God knows I wouldn’t change a thing.

Thank you God, thank you A&T.

As I stand here today, I’m reminded of my mother’s words, “Miles, what’s for you, is for you.” A sentiment that would have more of an impact than I could’ve ever imagined.

First and foremost, I thank God for His unwavering grace, guidance, and favor—for showing giving me grace and guidance at every step of the journey.

To my village, my family, my friends, and my mentors, thank you for your endless love, prayers, and belief in me even when I doubted myself. It takes a village to raise a man, but an even stronger one to hold him up when he falls, and you all have caught me at every step.

And to my university, thank you for not only shaping me academically but for creating an environment that pushed me to grow, lead, and dream bigger.

Every challenge, late night, and lesson has led to this point. I’m beyond thankful for the journey and excited for what’s ahead. 💫
