My cup runneth OVER with all the love and excitement around opening night. I’m in total awe of what the cast, crew and creative team pulled off on Sunday, and I’m so grateful to have been a part of it.

To be surrounded by such talent and commitment *and* to be supported in every possible way by my team, my family, and so many beloved friends? I’m beyond lucky. 😭

Getting to meet some of my absolute IDOLS was the Broadway cherry on top. I’m still processing. 🤣

How is this my life?!? 🤩🦸‍♂️🥰

A moment I’ll treasure: meeting President Alexander Stubb of Finland during United Nations General Assembly week in New York. 🇫🇮

I had the honor of singing at the Atlantic Council’s Global Citizen Awards, which celebrated President Stubb (@alexstubb) alongside Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese (@albomp), Formula 1 President and CEO Stefano Domenicali (@stefanodomenicaliofficial), and the legendary Cynthia Erivo (@cynthiaerivo).

President Stubb was being recognized for his leadership in advancing European unity, strengthening Finland’s role in NATO, and showing a steadfast commitment to democratic values.

The previous day, President Stubb addressed the UN General Assembly. Speaking about the need for international cooperation, he said: “Small nations need it to survive. Large nations need it to stay great.”

At the awards ceremony, he reflected on the possibility that we’re living through a turning point like 1918, 1945, or 1989—a moment when the world order is changing and our choices will shape what comes next. He asked everyone in the room to consider what we can do to bring the world toward cooperation, including those of us in the arts.

As a Finnish-American artist, I felt especially proud to be invited to salute the President. His challenge to each of us—to find our own part in building a more cooperative world—has stayed with me. And yes, I’m a very big fan. 🤩🇫🇮 taken in Waldorf Astoria New York by @themilesshow

I’m beyond honored to have created one of the title roles, alongside @andrzej.filonczyk, and we were lucky to share the stage with @sunly_pierce @ellsno @edwardnelsonmusic @patrickcarfizzi @colcloughopera @elliedehnsoprano @croft4078 @amandabatistaopera @john_m_moore @evegigliotti @solisef @nedhanlon @metoperachorus @metoperaactors @metorchestra, and be guided by the brilliant @nezetseguin and @bartlett.sher at the helm.

Mason Bates and Gene Scheer’s adaptation of Michael Chabon’s novel opened the @metopera 25/26 season, and went on to a rare same-season extension in February due to popular demand. A performance in October 2025 was filmed and premiered in movie theaters across the country in January.

I know, I know not to read reviews… and I usually don’t! But I was floored by this one. 🥹 A perfect cap to a Ravinia week I won’t forget – a marvelous cast, lots of friends in the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, and, of course, singing Mozart with Maestro Conlon. Thank you, Chicago!!! 🤩🥰😁

This was truly one of the best days of my life. 🏳️‍🌈 You could *never* have convinced in-the-closet-Miles that someday he’d be riding in a float during the New York City Pride Parade singing Big Spender. (Keep watching for a taste of that! 😁)

It was thrilling to hear NYC cheer as we rode down 5th Ave, turned at Washington Square Park, and then passed the Stonewall Inn – all while Anthony Roth Costanzo sang the Habanera and Latonia Moore served one of the best “Oops I Did It Again” renditions I’ve ever heard. What an honor to join them this year on the @metopera float! 🤩😍🌈

I’m so grateful to the Met for celebrating Pride so visibly and for creating a space where everyone across the company could celebrate together. It was extra special to get to wear a custom rainbow kilt and double created by @fnf4711 Bruce Manilla, First Tailor in the Met Costume Shop, who has designed so many incredible pieces I’ve worn during some of the most exciting moments in my career so far! 🏳️‍🌈🥳🥰

I hope the young queer kids in the audience who can’t say it out loud yet look at me and think: here’s a gay kid who didn’t have anything. No open doors, no connections, nobody in the business. I just kept studying, kept figuring it out.

That little flame inside all of us? ✨Keep it lit. Keep going.✨

It’s time for my Mozart era!!!

Was on stage a few hours ago at @metopera closing our run of INNOCENCE, and I’ll be at @laopera in a few hours to begin rehearsals for DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE. 😵‍💫😍

It has been a season of dreams at the Met, and I’m soooo grateful to all of the audiences. I’ll have more to share in the coming days as I begin to process just how much this season has meant. But now it’s time to put the contemporary opera scores down for a little bit and focus on some classic Mozart.

Grateful for all of these fabulous projects in my schedule and maybe I’ll actually sleep soon… maybe?!? 🤣🤣 See you in LA!

Till death do us part 👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️

On stage now at the Met, Kaija Saariaho’s Innocence follows a group of guests at a wedding as they wrestle with their connections to a devastating school shooting a decade earlier.

In this clip from the final dress rehearsal, the Bride, sung by @jacquelynstucker, confronts her Bridegroom, sung by Miles Mykkanen (@themilesshow), when she learns that his brother committed the horrible crime.

Innocence is on stage through April 29, with Maestro @malkkiconductor leading an acclaimed production by @simonandrewstone.
