30 YEARS IN THE SAME BAND. PART 1

1996–2014

From pub gigs and soul nights in Essex… to selling out @o2sbe / @kokocamden & venues alike.

To broken down buses, major labels, private boats to @isleofwightfest - @applemusic album of the year - @bigtop40 on @sonymusicuk - casual chats with @eltonjohn - recording & live with top geezer @idriselba - the complete o.g soul brother @hueymorgan we owe you a couple three course meals man - For the support over the years & the legendary big Idris-huey-smart-milk-folk-law-studio hangout big up @gordonsmart - the genius Paul Butler of @thebeesmusic and the glorious @chaleabbeystudios - the @bbc6music and now @virginradiouk legend @ T BONE - the grass roots and cultural powerhouses @chinnerys - old skl @bbcintroducing aka the lifer @mikebromfield - the machine @stuwhiffen for the support since the beginning. And of course the big g @buxtagram for working with us on Every Time We Fight music video + the support! As for the @socceram appearance. There’s only one winner!

Almost forgot we played @ibizarocks in 35 degree heat in full f*ckin mod suits - and of course lastly but no means least-ly the integral cogs of the machine from near or far - the street brawler TM and seller of our stolen goods @rees_8 + the shamanic guru @markypearson1.

People come and go in the journey of lifemusic and over the years it’s just something to be accepted…

And it goes without saying our families / friends (endless love to you) and people unavailable to tag. You ALL featured & played a huge part in this first chapter.

Just wish we could tag the skipper of the boat to Isle of Wight (he asked not to be named.)

PEOPLE, if you want to be at the end of part 3 or the Christmas special I’d get involved now if I was you.

It’s all just the next chapter in the book. Why stop writing it now?

Peace,
The Milk

P.s if you’ve not been mentioned your time will come.
