Don’t say I didn’t warn you….

I have no words 🎣🐟🐠🎏

Carrying on last week’s fishy theme, I’m trying on the other dresses and fish flared jumpsuit(!?) from this round of trash haulin’

Delights include:

🐟 the aforementioned flared, sparkly fishy jumpsuit that hands down wins most ridiculous item I’ve tried on so far…but it’s kind of… a vibe?

📏a metallic mini dress I wish I could rock

🖤a grungy full length nighty giving me Courtney Love vibes… or maybe it’s just giving nap time.

Picnic ready 🧸🧺🪎

Against every natural instinct, I chose gold.

A decision I spent the entire styling process mourning.

Vintage lime green kimono, gold jewellery, ridiculous glasses & ridiculously cute gold picnic basket handbag that somehow became the star of the show.

The hair sticks looked incredible.
The hair sticks felt terrible.

At least the picnic basket is cute 💛🧺💛

SCRAP Scans ✂️📎

The collage corner has been functioning fabulously.

Before i make a physical collage i like to preserve the best bits by scanning them in.

Partly because I’m a hoarder…

Partly because once something gets glued down, it’s committed. The scan means I can reuse the same scrap again & again in different ways.

My methodical system of Lips & Eyes, Textures, People, Words lasted approx 4 minutes. Then i was throwing random combinations of scraps onto the scanner bed just to see what happened.

The process always feels so exciting!

I think the resulting scans are like little artworks in their own right. Some will end up in future collages. Some will become digital pieces. Some might never become anything at all.

Either way, I’m having a lot of fun 😂💚

More salvaged trash trousers to try on!

This time it’s:

🫟 Tie dye / bleach effect jeans - are they giving Skinhead or punky princess?
⚜️ Gold...y beige wide legs screaming out for a waist belt
💥 @criminaldamage classics that remind me of a pair of jeans i made into a mini skirt once upon a time...

Struggling more than I probably should be with this shoulder thing *official term*.

Overall vibe: cyberpunk / techno / festival / clubwear / afternoon tea.

(ok, maybe not the last one.)

Blood red glasses & lipstick, heavy metal hardware and enough silver to interfere with local radio frequencies.

Special shoutout to the Berber jet & silver pendant I picked up in Marrakech this month. I literally clipped it onto the bodysuit and I looooove it.
