Finding great book recommendations (especially outside the internet) isn’t as difficult as it might seem.

With the International Booker Prize (@thebookerprizes) it gets even easier. Over the last ten years, it has consistently spotlighted incredible writing from across the world.

Many of my favourite books have come from its winners, shortlists, and longlists — proof that a story can resonate regardless of where it comes from.

Check out Flights by Olga Tokarczuk (Translated by Jennifer Croft) — winner of the 2018 prize — along with other winners from the last ten years and celebrate #fictionbeyondborders

i’ve spent the last 3, lesbehonest 4, months being absolutely miserable, overheated, and overstimulated.

turns out, it wasn’t a me problem (for the most part)

unpacked the big summer SAD, productivity guilt, and why some of us are spending the summer begging and praying for rain for @vogueindia (!!!!!!!!!!)

read at the link in bio. ☀️🥵

the fullest full-circle moment! read me in the May-June issue of @esquireindia 🥰

so often you don’t get to see a physical proof of the work you put in, especially in today’s digital age (this sounds so AI 😔), but it’s so gratifying to see something that came out of your brain etched on glossy magazine paper! everything will feel incomplete from now 🥺

thank you @sonal_nerurkar @rahulgangs_ @gregorsamosa for this opportunity and the care you took with my words. ❤️

amongst all of the coverage and content around the protests in delhi it feels almost comical to write about what *i* feel. but never in my 2 years of writing have i received so many DMs saying they related to a piece i’ve written.

during the july protests, i made a post which essentially repeated the same thing over and over again — it is important that you don’t look away. and with the horrible response that the public has received this time, it’s even more important to witness it. to imprint it in out memory. to do something and support the movement.

anyway, read some of the snippets (not in order). read the full essay on @elleindia

a big thanks to @aineenizamiahmedi @16ektasinha for taking this on. 🫶

i always knew i’d speak to @misterosman (for work) one day. and thanks to @esquireindia, i did!

The Thursday Murder Club and We Solve Murders (the series) have brought me so much joy and, more importantly, so much comfort. to sit down with Richard and talk my heart out, confess my love, and even grill him about what the movie did to Bogdan was one of the best moments of this year, and of my life!

read the best bits of our chat (i blame word counts) in Esquire India’s September Issue. get it on stands, @letsblinkit and other places you buy magazines.

guys… i have a September Issue PRINT feature! — not one, but two! (i’ll post the second one as soon as i have my copy)

thanks to @sonal_nerurkar @gregorsamosa @rahulgangs_ @i.moon.child for taking this on ❤️

Of friends — new and old, revisits, beating the horse that’s been dead for months, spiraling over things that are/were out of my control, and core memories. August you were great, September I’m wishing you’ll be better.

too tired to create an aesthetic dump for august because too many pics and videos to include (no nazar guys, revert to sender kar diya hai already 🧿)
