Since we have a few new faces here I figured I’d reintroduce myself. Hi 🤗 I am Cindy, the founder and creative force behind The Minted Design. I am a twin Mom to these two amazing people; Charlotte and Henry, a military wife, animal lover, “maker”, fitness enthusiast, a needlepoint lover and have a business degree in Marketing. I am also half Turkish and come from the most loving and brilliant minds I’ve ever met, Dr. Stanley and Huri Fraley. I have always loved colors, textures, textiles and been very sure of “my style” from a very young age. For my 18th birthday I had a tea party complete with antique tea sets I sourced for years (that I own to this day). This love for items that spark joy as well as unique and custom has been an underlying theme for quite some time in my life. I truly found the ah ha moment of embroidery and interior design after my twins were born and seeing their names and individual style was a true delight.
So, my “hobby” dreams began and my supportive husband said- Let’s do this, let’s go big. I used my savings from my corporate job and bought a 6 needle embroidery machine and began chipping away at my 10,000 hours. Very quickly I realized something very special about the design, needlepoint and gift business; I get to be part of some of the most magical, important and hard parts of people’s lives. These custom gifts and spaces are given and/or used at such loving moments like weddings, holidays, new homes, new babies to memorials and the extra special touches. I never expected this part of my job and it is truly the most rewarding and moving. I am so grateful to be part of making memories through needlepoint, quality custom gifts and spaces.
I by no means do any of this alone, from my family, friends on Instagram, friends I consider family and customers. The Minted Design is a true business of passion, art and hard work. Thank you all for your love and support, I am truly so grateful to do what I do. I promise to never take this business opportunity for granted ❤️🧿. by @theminteddesign

My first @fourwindssocial mat — and she’s a fun one! And of course, the @woodlandsmahjongsociety JOY tiles look fantastic paired with it. I had already seen a sneak peek on @fourwindssocial , so I was excited to see it together in person!

Happy to support these 2 shops that do so much to give back to their local communities.

With so many colors to pull from, the rack possibilities are endless. I love these racks from @theminteddesign — they almost look like glass! I wanted to let the mat and tiles take center stage, so clear felt like the perfect choice. The subtle hint of color adds just enough interest while keeping the tablescape feel light.
