There’s something truly magical about watching the sun rise over Cleethorpes. The sky lighting up, the waves gently rolling in, and that beautiful feeling of being exactly where you’re meant to be. ✨

🌍 DID YOU KNOW? The historic Greenwich Meridian Line (0° longitude) runs through Cleethorpes, continuing northwards towards the North Pole! You can visit the Meridian Line memorial on the beach and stand at a spot that connects you to a line running all the way around the world. How amazing is that? 🌎

🔐 LOVE IS IN THE AIR! Take a stroll to the beautiful love lock gate, where couples, friends and loved ones leave padlocks carrying special messages, names and memories. A little reminder that some connections are worth holding on to forever. ❤️

🙃 upside down yoga — but not quite as you know it!

Before anyone panics… no, I’m not going to ask you to stand on your head. 😂 And no, you don’t need to have done yoga before. Not even once.

In fact, forget pretty much everything you think a yoga session should look like.

This is something a little different I’ve been creating for our Girls Like Us Escape weekend. A journey through music, movement, connection and a little bit of letting go.

We’ll stretch, we’ll sway, we’ll move our hips, loosen those shoulders, explore a little sensuality, breathe, laugh and maybe even dance like nobody’s watching.

Some music will be soft. Some will be loud. Some moments will be playful, others might touch something a little deeper.

There’ll be space to slow down, to connect with the women around you, and perhaps peel away a few of those layers we carry without even realising.

And here’s the most important part…

You don’t need to be flexible. You don’t need to know any poses. You don’t need to be a certain age, shape or fitness level. You don’t even need to feel confident moving your body.

Everything is an invitation, never an expectation. Move how you feel comfortable, take a break whenever you like, or simply sit and enjoy the music.

This isn’t about how your body looks when it moves. It’s about how it feels to live in it. ❤️

For 45–60 minutes, we’re going to put aside the pressure to be anything other than ourselves.

No perfect poses. No judgement. No competition.

Just music, movement, a room full of women and a little freedom to be exactly who we are.

🏔️ COME HIKE WITH US. ALL OF YOU. 🌈🥾

You don’t need to be coming to Girls Like Us Escape to join this one.

On Saturday 7th November, we’re heading out for a 14km coastal walk with Queer Peaks — and the invitation is open.

GLUE girl, Queer Peaks girl, coming solo, bringing your mates, or simply thinking “I fancy a bloody good walk with a bunch of queer women”… COME. 💚

And we need to talk about the woman leading us.

Tish. The force behind Queer Peaks.

She started from zero, carrying her own challenges, and built something that became bigger than herself.

Not just walks. Not just mountains. Community.

A space where queer women can show up, move, connect, laugh, struggle up the hill together and realise they belong somewhere.

Some people are built for the quiet life.

Tish clearly missed that memo. 😂

Born for the climb. 🏔️🔥

No need for comfort. Just that fire to keep moving forward — and the courage to bring other women along for the journey.

She built something for herself that became something for all of us.

And THAT is exactly the energy we want around GLUE.

So having Tish and Queer Peaks lead our coastal hike? Absolute no-brainer. 🥾

I already know there are going to be moments on this walk that are about much more than 14km. I genuinely cannot wait to get behind the lens and capture some of them. 📸❤️

And here’s the important bit…

NOT COMING TO GLUE? COME HIKE ANYWAY.

The Queer Peaks hike is separate from the GLUE weekend, so you do not need a GLUE entertainment pass or accommodation to join the walk.

And if 14km of sea air, queer chaos and new connections leaves you thinking…

“Actually, I’m not ready to go home yet.” 👀
