Today, I had the honour to be the MC at the 7th Biennal Conference of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Lagos State Command and to say it was a great time would be telling you exactly how it went.

Frame 1: The Secretary to the @lagosstategovt Mrs Abimbola Salu Hundeyin is not only an amiable and elegant woman, she's also jovial and cerebral. It was good to make her laugh.

Frame 2: CP Patrick Adedeji Atayero; CP Anti Fraud FCID Alagbon couldn't hold back his laughter as well as all the high ranking police officers present. They took my jabs and bants in good light

Frame 3: Introducing the array of very high ranking officers of the @nigeriapoliceforce present at the conference

I can now confidentlt inform and announce to the general public that my new book, SMALL SENSE will be out to the world in #November

ABOUT THE BOOK
Small Sense is a humorous and reflective exploration of everyday human behaviour and the choices we make.

It blends observational humour, human behaviour and practical wisdom, drawing from philosophy, psychology, behavioural economics, neuroscience, culture and everyday Nigerian experiences to examine the often fascinating gap between what we know and what we actually do.

The book is built around a simple observation: human beings often possess the information, experience and awareness necessary to make better decisions, yet still make choices that contradict what they know.

Through personal stories, observations, humour and research, Small Sense explores the absurdity of everyday life; from money and ambition to relationships, parenting, technology, mental wellbeing, social behaviour, mistakes, waiting and the consequences of seemingly small decisions.

It is a book designed to make readers laugh, think and recognise themselves.

in 2003, I was exposed to reading books outside my academic books and I never imagined that reading those books was preparing me to being an author myself.

I now see my own books in my bookshelf amongst books from great people.
Is it safe to say, I am also a great person?

This is my 3rd book and I am over the moon about it. My previous two books got such a massive welcome and positive feedbacks and I am very convinced that this third book, #SmallSense will even be grteater than Unstoppable and Village People... Amen.

It will be out in November 2026.

"Nuturing Relationships that Build you for the Room" was the topic I was given to touch on...

Many times while trying to network we concentrate too much on who we know or who we should know forgetting that value exchange is a double way street...
We forget that as we watch people fir what we can get from them, they also watch for waht they can benefit from us in return.

I had the priviledge yet again to teach from my knowledge and experience and it was such an honour to have been invited by @babylayosexquisitetouch who runs @beteventstrainingschool to speak to professionals and practicing Event Vendors in Southwest Nigeria.

I was saddled with the responsibility of speaking on the topic "Nuturing Relationships that Builds You for The Room"

I acknowledged openly that my growth and continous growth in my variety of career paths have been a functiom of solid relationships.
I shared a few personal examples and I gave tips on how to identify, maintain and nuture relationships that helpa build ones career.

I had fun doing what I love to do best. In the process I gave out two of my books, Village People and also sold some copies.

I am glad we now have professionals who take knowledge acquisition and capacity development very seriously and it is on this note I want to say a big thank you to @tolulope_adetiran for a well put together event and also wish her a hearty happy birthday.
