What’s unique about the LGBTQ+ community is that they anticipate what the future looks, sounds, and thinks like. Tapping into what makes the LGBTQ+ community special is how brands stay ahead of the cultural curve. Brands scaled back this Pride, but they are missing the opportunity to ‘future-proof’ themselves with what the generations of tomorrow desire. 🌈 Happy Pride 🌈 #inclusion #pride #pride2024 #pridemonth by @themixxnyc
Every year @themixxnyc watches the Super Bowl for the ads. (Lucky, as the game wasn’t all that!) Brands played it way more safe this year, and star power was out in full force. Yet, some of the best had no recognizable faces at all. Here are our top five memorable ads we woke up still thinking about. Google: Brought all the feels, super inclusive, and highlighted tech used for good. Dove: A warm yet stark PSA, with the perfect context inside the male-dominated NFL. Verizon: An amazing co-brand from two amazing brands in their own right (with a music drop and album announcement to boot). CeraVe: A quirky take inside a saturated category from a household brand lacking prior buzz. Duolingo: Weird. Unexpected. Memorable! by @themixxnyc

Celebrating a night of triumphs at the Emmy’s, the spotlight shone on GLAAD as they claimed the prestigious Television Academy’s 2023 Governors Award. As a LGBTQ+ owned agency, this moment resonated profoundly. Echoing Sarah Kate Ellis, President and CEO of GLAAD, “Visibility creates understanding and opens doors, it’s life-saving.” #GLAAD #emmys #LGBTQ #visibility by @themixxnyc
