Steve Zhou says using his niche gave him the advantage in an over-saturated market. If you can lean into what makes you different and understand the pain points of a specific audience, you won't need to compete because people will come to you.

The lesson: identify the unique value only you can bring, then amplify it until the right people immediately understand why you’re the right fit.

That’s part of how he’s grown to coach nearly 500 people.

Steve Zhou went from being laid off from his engineering career to building an online fitness coaching business, serving hundreds of clients, and eventually opening his own gym.
