MINO Bros. 【English】 I had the pleasure of creating this clip and appearing in: Coneco Film Vol.561 “The Gentleman’s Way” Since I was obviously born a true gentleman myself, I had to use my imagination—and a little philosophy—to explore the question: “What does it feel like to be a human consumed by desire?” That idea became the inspiration behind this film. English I’m excited to announce that LEONIDAS, in which I play the role of Louis Sakamoto, will be released in theaters nationwide in Japan on Friday, October 16. The story follows Hiro, a young Zainichi Korean man trying to live true to himself while facing overwhelming forces beyond his control, and Aoi, a woman born into a wealthy family who carries a deep sense of loneliness. Through their encounter, the film explores dreams, family, roots, loneliness, and what it means to live authentically within society—a story of youth and contemporary society in Reiwa-era Japan. I play Louis Sakamoto, Hiro’s close friend. Louis himself comes from a mixed background, and there were aspects of his identity that resonated with my own. It was a role—and a film—that I was able to approach from a very real and personal perspective. Directed by Junki Tachibana, whose short film Unforgettable received multiple international film awards, and featuring an exciting cast of emerging actors. by @themoctar

I went to see FACE, a two-person play starring Yashiba-san, and happened to run into Naoko-san there 😊 Yashiba-san’s performance as a character with multiple personalities was incredible 👏 I was completely immersed in the intense atmosphere and all his transformations. It even made me want to study psychology. After the show, Naoko-san and I grabbed dinner, then visited Anahachimangu Shrine in Waseda ⛩️ I gave thanks for being able to see such a wonderful performance, for our health, and for so many other blessings in everyday life 🙏 It was such a good day. Thank you!! Take care of yourselves y’all !

I finally watched “The Eve of War” on its opening day—I’d been looking forward to it for so long. 角谷君出てて嬉しかった) As a Japanese, it reminded me that I must to keep learning more about Japan. More importantly as a human being, we must continue learning from history. It was a truly powerful film. Thank you. More than 50 million lives were lost worldwide during World War II, including about 3.1 million from Japan. It’s too much. Let’s all do our best. Our planet is beautiful though.
