When I first got the email that I was shooting for Lancôme I bawled my eyes out in disbelief.

If you see something for yourself it is there and possible.
You just have to be in alignment and it flows.

You don't have to push or fight against.

This is a dream come true for me and part of me still doesn't believe this.

Let this be an example to show you you can do anything if you truly want and see it 💖💖💖

I was on this flight

Pretty close to a near death experience in terms of what we all thought on that plane.

Being a physician has been a huge part of my identity.

Writing this piece allows people to understand why I am not practicing.

People have a lot of opinions lol.

Just another wonderful NY night I don't take for granted

I always have dressed up but in my 40s I really truly don't care what others think of me. So I can be overdressed bc it brings me joy. However my recent observation is that people are dressing up again manhattan. Esp at faena. Woohoo!!

The inner critic can be very loud!

I cooked and baked and decorated and wrapped for my 8yo son's birthday.

all the while a voice in my head kept telling me it was not enough.

Good thing I'm aware of my inner critic because I listen and then I don't give her much importance

My solo journey continues and I get more and more comfortable in my own skin

I didn't imagine being single at this stage, however my life has actually turned out way better than I imagined.

Everyday is truly joyous and happiness comes as easily as breathing!

Whoever might be going through a breakup, know that peace and joy are on the other side of heartache.

Every Christmas has gotten better and better.

If you feel like your perfect pictures don't match your inside life you're not alone.

I sent my first Christmas card this year because my life was in alignment with the pictures and before they weren't.

My life looked perfect but it was far from that.

I never imagined getting a divorce. No one gets married with that plan.

However, this is the path I chose. And I have grown in ways I could never have without the experience of a marriage that did not work.

And now I get to be who I am. Unabashedly and unafraid.
I could not be happier.

I never imagined that I could enjoy my life so much as a single parent, but here I am.

I hope whoever needs to hear this sees this post.

I burned through a concealer and makeup bag with my curling iron don't ask!

I'm not adept with hot hair tools lol

I switched to my shark air wrap

No foundation I am disciplined re my skin regimen especially sunscreen!

Who knew work could feel not like work!

I continue to grow/expand and redefine who I am

None of this would be possible without some of the greatest teachers I've had.

Moments of tremendous pain followed by awakening.

I am no longer a girl who fits into a (culturally driven) box!
