This years back to school looked different as a first year homeschooling family 🥹✨

I know most of this is extra and not necessary to have a memorable and special first day of homeschooling but being able to do this for the kids and honestly myself was so fulfilling.

I created the banners on Canva and used the viral Walgreens banner hack to print them(they were $12 each 😱) a literal steal.

A wholesome day together as a homeschooling family.
Started the day at co-op with our friends, headed to @cityhome to try out their new sectional sofas since ours is literally falling apart and then to @ikeausa for a return and saw the cutest Christmas decor which the kids loved 😍

In April our family decided to withdraw our kids from school and start homeschooling. When I told my remote part time job, they kindly told me my new availability wouldn’t work for them and let me go same day.

I locked in, I started w/o knowing what I was doing or if I was in the right track. So I prayed for God to settle my heart from giving up if it was HIS will.. I continued showing up - upset, scared, embarrassed, with mom guilt, challenged, tired.

A season of breakthrough might mean hours of sacrifice and getting out of your comfort zone.

I got big goals for Q4. 10k followers, $10k months. Meaningful connections, life changing conversations.

Let’s go 👏🏻

Full breakdown of timeline:
- April : created this account as a travel UGC account because I was afraid of putting myself out there.
- May: continued with travel content but saw 0 movement.
- June: shifted to a lifestyle UGC account despite my fear of attention and landed my first gifted collab on a platform.
- July: said yes to every gifted collab possible to get experience.
- August: contracted $1300 worth of paid jobs + a few high quality gifted collabs (GAP, HIYA & more)
- September 1-15: contracted $1550 for this month and $1400 for October. 0 gifted.

A little fall coffee bar refresh and a Maple Butter Vanilla bean iced latte is just the perfect way to start my mornings or for that mid day pick me up.

First year of homeschooling and these are our 26/27 curriculum picks! 🍎📓✏️

So grateful for all of my fellow homeschooling mama’s that said to keep it SIMPLE.
Your first year is all about learning rhythm, ebbs and flows and reminding myself that busy doesn’t always mean productive 🥸

My youngest is in Kindergarten so I really wanted to focus on building strong phonics foundation which is why I decided to double dip and get reading & language arts for him.
