10 years of being married. 2 countries, 9 house moves (3 in the UK), 2 bambinos & a lot of strength. When you emigrate you give up your village with your safety nets of family and friends. You start again in a place where you don’t know a soul and have no memories with anyone. You can’t call mom or dad to pick up the kids last minute or a sibling to help so that you can work late. You don’t even know if it’s going to work out. No blissful ignorance of the familiarity of living in the same place you grew up in. *YOU ONLY HAVE EACH OTHER TO BEGIN WITH*. You have to be okay with constantly being the voice in your own head without the external factors. I’m so glad I chose you to make difficult decisions with. Thank you for always being so honest, so loyal and so emotionally available (because we both know I need it). Thank you for having such tenacity, broad shoulders and loving me so hard. You know me better than anyone out there and I would laugh together at stupid things with you forever. I would pick you everytime @mattykearse. You just get me. I adore you ❤️❤️ by @themoofactor

How great to be able to hop over the fence to watch the harvesting and ride in the combine! These kids loved it and I’m so grateful that they get to have that agricultural link that I grew up with. Those memories are held close to my heart. Farmers work so hard here and do loads of the work themselves. A beautiful morning spent walking along the river, finding loads of fairy houses, identifying some birds, enjoying the sunshine and listening to Matthew singing TLC’s “Waterfalls”. Not so sure that last one was so great though. Rural North Yorkshire we adore you. We’re so grateful that we get to call you home. 2025 gave us a lot. Lots of smiles. Lots of patience. More rainbows than I’ve ever seen in a year. My little ones getting older. Loads of kind people. An abundance of lovely walks. Challenges. New friendships. A summer break to a place I’ve always wanted to visit. Morning coffees. Taking chances. A peaceful new home. Routine changes for all of us. A beautiful school ♥️. Loads of tears but even more love. More kind people. Embracing changes and opportunities. Being so grateful for my husband. Slow Sundays. Making simple memories. Christmas with special people.
