Theme: Magic, Dress code: “Dress as the most true form of yourself.” We started off our day going on a hike by ourselves through the old growth forests of my favorite state park. We ended up at the waterfall where we met our two best friends, one of whom married us with a beautiful speech consisting of “Til deathroll do us part” as we put our gator tattoos together. After some tears and vows, we headed to the reception where we were greeted by our friends and family. My dad and brother made all of the delicious food so we spent the evening feasting, listening to the band play Devil Went Down To Georgia while it rained, and I even got to swim with my bestie! We may have just gotten married but we’ve loved each other for ten years and the feelings only grow stronger every day. My most precious gem. 💎🌲✨ .

My favorite is the one with ✨groove✨! Which one was your favorite?
I found all of these magical little mushies on my most recent hike through the mossy rainforests near my house in the PNW. They each have their own pizzazz! .

I don’t have any new artwork to show you since just about all of my time has been spent working on preorders, so enjoy some glimpses into what September looks like here in Oregon 🍄‍🟫✨ So much variety! From misty, mossy coasts to volcanoes covered in lava rock! 🌋 .

My kiln finally came! I needed to start a notebook to log all of my kiln firings and when I thought of the term “firing log” I couldn’t help but imagine Calcifer the fire from Howl’s Moving Castle 🔥 Ever since I started ceramics about 6 years ago I’ve been working with the tiniest little 8 inch by 8 inch kiln, only able to fire a few small pieces at a time and of course I was limited to only making ceramics that are 8 inches or smaller. Now that I have my own home, I was finally able to upgrade to a massive kiln so that I can start big projects! I’m seeing some sinks and fountains in my future 🔮✨

With just a few weeks left of summer, I want to know what autumn inspired creations you’d like to see this year? These were some sets that I made back when I lived in New Orleans. What a great location for Halloween inspiration! .
