Underneath every craving of the flesh is a hunger to fill something that only Jesus can fill and satisfy. Things we tell ourselves is only temporary can end up leaving us in chains. But God has more for you.

Take hold of your freedom today and step out of the Egypt God is calling you out of. by @themovement.la

We are all carrying a weight—the question is what weight are you carrying. Many of us can feel weighed down by the things of life, but when we are in Christ, we no longer have to carry that weight.

When we are in Christ and are carrying in the weight and magnitude of the Gospel and know Jesus intimately, it propels us forward. It launches us into purpose. It produces us a resilience in us to never back down, to stand firm, be bold, and walk in His truth. by @themovement.la

“Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?”

It’s possible to be busy for God and while being disconnected from God. It’s possible to merely be running off of religious activity and be detached from the source and not even realize it.

We must move from a place of striving to abiding.

As a tree gets life from being attached to the source, we gain life being attached to our Source—Jesus Christ. As we abide Him, we experience true peace, transformation, purpose, and an unshakeable joy. by @themovement.la

Despise not the day of small beginnings. What God has spoken over you and concerning you will come to pass in His time — begin to believe Him, take Him at His Word, remain faithful, and hold fast to the hope we have in Jesus. by @themovement.la

The narrow way of Jesus will cost you something. We’re called to leave the old and step into the new. May we give our all to the one who gave His all for us. by @themovement.la
