If you’re thinking about an English escape this October, put Bath on your list 🍂🤎

It’s honestly one of my favourite cities in England. It’s beautiful, full of stunning Georgian architecture, and just feels like the perfect place for a slow few days. And if you’re coming from London, it’s only around 1 hour 15 minutes by train, so it makes for such an easy little city escape.

A few places I’d definitely add to your itinerary:

🏛️ The Roman Baths
⛪ Bath Abbey
📚 Jane Austen Centre
🏡 No. 1 Royal Crescent
🌿 Prior Park
🍽️ The Bird, Bath
♨️ Thermae Bath Spa
🎨 The Holburne Museum
🍰 Sally Lunn’s
🌉 Pulteney Bridge

And obviously, you have to wander around the Bridgerton filming locations too. The Royal Crescent, The Circus and all those gorgeous Georgian streets are pretty hard to resist.

A little reminder from my days working 9–5 in social media 😂

I remember being sick in bed and still having posts go live from Rome, Paris, etc. because they’d been scheduled weeks in advance.

And then having to explain that yes, I was actually sick… even though my Instagram made it look like I was casually living my best life in Italy 😂

The solution? I ended up blocking everyone from work because apparently, if you’re posting from Rome, you can’t possibly be sick in bed. 😂

Social media really is not always real-time.

Sometimes you’re on a beach. Sometimes you’re in bed with a fever. Sometimes the post was scheduled three weeks ago. 🤷🏻‍♀️ by @themrsdrago
